Pick Up The Phone Lyrics Novels & Stories

I was done. Then my phone buzzed. A vibration so sharp it rattled my bones. I glanced down. One text. One number I hadn’t seen in years. They told me you’d pick one. You picked the wrong thing.

Hailey Anderson My phone rang and I quickly answered it. "Hello.” "You didn't call me." My eyes widen, right. I forgot to call him. I chuckled. "Sorry.” "What time you want me to pick you up?" Luke asked. "5, I guess.. Do you still have work?" "I'm at home, I just got home to be exact." I looked at my watch and it's already 3.25. "Just pick me up at 5.” "Will do beautiful." He said and then he ended the call. Me and my friends walked around for a little bit more. I bought some new clothes.

"You're the light, you're the night You're the colour of my blood You're the cure, you're the pain You're the only thing I wanna touch" The annoying sound ruined my dreams. I groaned loudly and looked around for the source of that sound. It's my phone ringing. Excitement took over my body and I grabbed my phone from the nightstand. My heartbeat doubled when I saw the caller's name. I pressed the green button and put the phone to my ear. "Hey! Hi." I breathed.

Holding two big lunchboxes in both of my hands, I paced towards the stairs up to the rooftop when my phone suddenly rang. Ugh, who the hell is calling me now? I put the lunch boxes down to get my phone from the pocket of my dark blue ripped jeans. My eyes automatically widened when Lucifer’s name appeared on my screen. Lucifer is calling me? Oh My Gosh! He finally realized that I’m the one he truly loves! I practiced my sweetest voice first before I pressed the answer icon on my phone. “H-Hello?” {Come here at the school’s abandoned gymnasium.} A husky voice of a man was heard over the phone.

Enough is enough. I picked up my phone and decided to turn it on. This was the only time I had to myself. Once the sun rises, Adrian will start calling me every minute. His persistence taught me to switch off my phone. I know he’s probably assigned one of his men to keep dialing until I pick up. But I will never answer his calls, nor will I ever return them.

He was close to the bedside table so I said to him. "Pass it to me, please." "Yes ma'am." When he picked it up, his face turned sour. "Philip.” He said as he handed the phone to me. I stared at him then at my cellphone. "You can't let it ring forever, c'mon, pick up."He urged and laid back down on the bed. "I don't have to.” I replied putting my cellphone away. “You don't have to be upset, it was just a phone call" "From a man who wants you back."

"I stole it from the guards. While they were distracted." She stares at the phone like it's a lifeline. Maybe it is. "We're going to call for help" I say. "I'm going to get us out of here. All of us." I press Emily's name. The phone rings once. Twice. Three times. Two percent. Please pick up before it dies. "Come on" I whisper. "Come on, pick up." The call connects. "Leah? Is that really you? Oh my God, thank God—"

“Pick up the phone, Luke! I'm in trouble.” I was answered by a voicemail. I know I have to dial him again. “Maybe, I got to call Monty so he can tell Luke since he is not picking up.” I was shaky. I try so hard to control my thumbs, scrolling my phone screen. Monty is not picking up, too. Of all the days that they can't pick up the phone, why does it have to be tonight?! I'm going to dial Luke again. He must answer this time!

"Why aren't you picking up his calls?" "I have nothing to say to him", I told her, shifting in my bed to face the window. I felt the bed dip besides me before the sound of the bed covers being shuffled followed. "Where's my phone?" She asked, just as Ariana grande started singing again. She found it and picked up the called. "Hello. Ah.....yes. Wait a second let me put you on loud". "Why put me on loud?" Came Herman's retort. Hearing his voice made my tummy churn.

I begged her. "Yeah sure why not. If this can help." She said fishing out her phone from her handbag and giving it to me. I dropped the phone and instantly dialled the only number I remember right now. The phone ringing but no one pick the up. "Oh no no no please pick up Issac! Please!!" I begged and dialed again. This time someone picked up just after two rings. "Hello?" He spoke. As soon as I heard his voice tears sprang in my eyes and slid down my cheeks and gasp escaped my mouth.
