There were painfully few photos of Elena in the entire album. One of them had been taken by Lake Michigan when they were fifteen. In the photo, Celeste held Adrian’s arm and smiled brightly. Elena stood far away with the red cape on her shoulders, gauze around one ankle, and Adrian’s jacket in her hands. Adrian stopped breathing. Memories crashed into him like glass shattered by gunfire.

I growled. He rolled his eyes, “I’ll add that they often smell like sandalwood, cigar, like the coasts of your tropical kingdom.” Adrien stared at me like I’d just punched him in the face with a sunflower. His mouth opened. Closed. Opened again. “You’re joking,” he finally managed. I folded my arms, deliberately ignoring how the breeze caught the tattered ends of my skirt and how annoyingly good he looked standing there, golden and powerful and incredibly unwanted. “Do I look like I’m joking?”

We’re talking heels in hand, lipstick smudged, and a goodbye kiss so steamy we had to censor it twice. Aria stopped reading and blinked her eyes three times. There was even an image of Adrain and the blonde lady. The lady's face wasn't clear so Aria couldn't see her face, but Adrian's face was very clear. Mia attached two photos to the post, in the fist one Adrain and a tall blonde woman in a red short gown were mid-kiss near the valet stand and the second picture shows Adrian grinning like the devil himself while holding the lady's waist.

"Well, I wouldn't go as far as saying who among the two of you are better looking, but I would certainly say that he can easily fall in your step." Adrian narrowed his eyes at me in response. Without speaking, he grabbed my hand and took me to the other side of the room where the wall was filled with his photos- from childhood to adulthood. There were photos of him winning a soccer match, a young, tall Adrian in his graduation robe, and a big one of him with his family. I felt my lips involuntarily curl up into a smile as I observed them all, still having a hard time in believing that this handsome species of a human was mine.

I replied with a smile. She nodded immediately and gestured for me to follow her. My eyes scanned the restaurant as we walked and then I saw him. Adrien was already seated at a table near the window. He stood up the moment he noticed me walking over. He looked really good. There was just something about him that had me captivated. He was dressed in a dark suit, the top button of his shirt undone just enough to look relaxed. His hair was neatly styled and the soft lighting of the restaurant made his icy blue eyes stand out even more.

I came back with sweatpants and a normal shirt. When I was coming down the stairs, I immediately and silently stopped in my tracks. Adrien was currently walking around the living room, looking at my family's pictures that were framed for everybody to see on a small shelf on top of the stone-like furnace. He looked so innocent looking at each of my photos framed there, he looked at them one by one, with a sweet but neutral face. If I hadn't known he was an obnoxious jock, I would have thought he was a sweet guy. But sadly he is an obnoxious and egocentric jock. Makes me wonder where is the big bad wolf demeanor he had at school.

Anyone who saw Adriel would agree that he was extremely good looking. His hair was neatly cut but also slightly ruffled. He had scythe shaped eyebrows. His aquiline nose and prominent cheekbones sat above an oaken jaw. His opal round shaped eyes held a pair of scintillating loam gray eyes. These were enough to make any woman attracted to him and Adriel Alvarez knew this. He used it to his advantage as well. Adriel Alvarez wasn't just popular for being the successful Ceo and future sole owner of A Globals, he also had a reputation for being a playboy. He changed girlfriends as often as he changed his cars. And he only dated the best and most elite, supermodels, A list actresses and the likes.

She explains, looking at Ed adoringly. The door down the hall clicks open and a bare chested Adrian, carrying his t-shirt in his hand comes walking towards us, his entire stomach is covered in cling wrap, to protect the new tattoo he just had done and as he gets closer the design becomes clear, a stunning purple winged bird, in flight spread out on the right side of his stomach. "Wow," I exclaim, running up to Adrian to get a closer look at the design. The details are incredible; it looks so realistic. "That's amazing. What type of bird is it?"

Swifter than lightning, Adrian turns to me and gives me a bow that has him almost eating the carpet. “I apologize to be the one to bear this news Your Majesty,” he sputters in rapid Spanish. I arch an eyebrow at him and the urge to laugh grows within me, that is until he readjusts into an upright position and walks to me with a picture in hand. “What is that Aries?” I ask in Spanish. “I’m sorry Your Majesty, this is what the palace surveillance cameras picked up from last week's ball.” He bows one more time before handing me the photograph.

Tomek waved at the two short-haired male models walking alongside Adrien. About to cross the street, Adrien bid goodbye to his friends, who, like him, were also sporting the boy-next-door look. "Yo," was Adrien's only greeting when he later joined them at their table. He gave Veronica a kiss on the cheek, ordered a double espresso, and then sat beside her. "Long time no see. How's the casting?" Veronica smiled at Adri. "How you been?" Adrien replied with a dismissive shrug and took out a cigarette. "Good. Except I felt like a creep lined up half-naked behind all the teenage models in there."
