Hush:The Secret of the Wind

Hush:The Secret of the Wind

Our attention were all shifted to Mikael’s discussion it was a completely perfect diversion which is both useful in our merits and for a distraction. The bright surroundings began to dim when we reached the orifice of the green zone of the Crooked Forest. The Equidaes neighed and halted making slight bump in the carriage. I peered outside through the window although it was daylight the surroundings perceives sundown because of the shade of the colossal trees. Albeit it was murky it did not hide the majestic life of the forest. It was a healthy life force untainted by the hands of the wizlings perhaps it was because of the this forest was usually off limits since it was brimming with monsters

Its southwestern expanse was unknown except by the Dine and they would not discuss its reach. As he moved through the forest, he sensed traces of power, long dissipated, but still potent. The contour of power’s dissipation was circular and its hub was somewhere up ahead. However, the sweep of destruction was intermittent. Like gaps made by the spokes of a wagon wheel there were wide swaths where trees were bent and broken, and swaths where the trees grew tall and green and the earth was fertile and ripe, and then another swath of destruction.

“I couldn’t think of anything more creative for our announcement. But Pinterest boards are full of gender reveal announcement ideas. You warned me; I’m now officially addicted to Pinterest. I must attempt to keep from opening it while at work. Last week, I needed an idea for the bulletin board near the child care door. I opened Pinterest on my work PC. An hour later, I pinned over ten bulletin board ideas plus recipes, nursery decorating ideas, and even lists of baby names.” “That is why I only allow myself on Pinterest while I am on a treadmill,” I remind her. “Time flies. It’s very easy to spend an hour walking while pinning.” “I should do that,” Kennedy confesses. “I don’t think I have yo

Bound By Bloodlines

Bound By Bloodlines

“Well, someone has to keep you on your toes.” Dorian’s rare chuckle rumbled through the air, his lips curling into a soft smile. “Fair enough,” he said, offering his arm. “Shall we?” As they started to stroll through Shadowclaw, Irwin’s awe was palpable. She couldn’t tear her eyes away from the towering trees that formed a protective canopy above them, their branches entwining like a natural fortress. The forest floor was alive with color, blanketed by wildflowers in vibrant blues, purples, and yellows, their petals swaying gently in the breeze. Sunlight streamed through the leaves, dappling their path with golden light.

Mr. President's Lost Wife

Mr. President's Lost Wife

"Your observations are very sharp, Honey. Pine trees are native to the northern hemisphere. However, some of their species can survive in extreme conditions. Because of that, we can find pine trees in various ecosystems, such as rainforests and even deserts." Sky listened with round eyes. Alice thought she had succeeded in raising her spirits. But apparently, the little girl only responded briefly. "Pine trees are great." After a blink, Sky buried her back in the seat again. Her shoulders drooped listlessly. What made Alice even more anxious, Sky began to breathe heavily. Alice didn't know that the more new things Sky saw, the more her longing grew. Sky wanted to share the excitement with he

Just like the other readers. I cried so much because of the father & daughter. It's saddening but also heartwarming. It's a great book. . I enjoyed Ed, Alice & Sky's adventure Now, looking forward to Sky, Louis & Emily's own adventure.

Finished this sweet and relaxing story. Ed really behaved like a dick so his motive doesn't hold up. Sometimes a bit too elaborate so I skipped a bit but Sky is no doubt a marvelous kid. I was curious about Alice's mindset which was not really explained but Sky made up a lot. Worth reading!

Not Just A Luna; I Am Alpha!

Not Just A Luna; I Am Alpha!

A gentle breeze carried the earthy scent of pine, mingling with the sweet fragrance of wildflowers that adorned the forest floor. The meeting hall, nestled within the heart of the territory, was a testament to the pack's strength and unity. Constructed from sturdy timber harvested from the surrounding woods, the hall blended seamlessly with its natural surroundings. The entrance bore intricately carved symbols, marking the Raven Claw Pack's heritage and resilience.

Rejected: The Alpha's Fatal Mistake

Rejected: The Alpha's Fatal Mistake

She'd stopped waiting for someone to come after them, which felt less like a victory and more like a wound closing over something that was never going to heal right. By the third of those days Wren had stopped being able to tell whether the ache behind her ribs was the rejection or just plain hunger, and by the fourth, she'd mostly stopped trying to separate the two. Nightshade territory announced itself the way a wound does — not all at once, but in stages. First the trees changed, older and closer together, the kind of forest that had been left alone too long to be anyone's, the way Blackthorn's woods were carefully, purposefully somebody's. Then the quiet changed. No border markers. No pa

The path ahead turned from frost to damp earth, the trees growing denser, taller—like watchmen of an ancient realm. By midday, they stood at the edge of Hollowpine. The forest was unlike anything Aria had seen. Trunks stretched endlessly into a ceiling of dark, matted green. The canopy was so thick the sun barely trickled through, and the wind moved strangely—like it traveled backward in time. Lyselle muttered, “Well, this place doesn’t scream ‘trap’ at all.” Thalen’s fire flickered nervously around his shoulders, reacting to the strange pull of the woods.

Rejected Luna of the Nightshade Pack

It was as if the forest itself held its breath in reverence for the journey unfolding before them. Guided by Winter's unwavering instinct, the group finally arrived at a hidden grove nestled within the heart of the Whispering Wood. The enchanting cabin stood before them, surrounded by a tapestry of colorful flowers and lush foliage. It emanated an aura of ancient magic, its very presence a testament to the power that resided within.

Monkshood - One With The Wolf

Monkshood - One With The Wolf

Time seemed to both stand still and move far too quickly all at once and the once quiet woods were ablaze with activity as wolves and humans of all shapes, sizes, and colors raced through the frozen wonderland, frantically searching for the being that started it all. But even with hundreds of eyes, many of them supernaturally enhanced, the object of their search slipped past them with a coat of pure snow, allowing it to blend in with the wintery wonderland that had become Black Pines Forest, located near a small, sleepy little town, and home to one of the largest and most powerful werewolf packs on the Earth.
