Empress of the World

Empress of the World

The pirate asked in a deceptively calm tone. "We just not noticed. Just like you, our eyes have been on the shore. Oh look! That ship's mast is tilted. Guess I was right, four ships are in trouble." Xander rubbed his forehead. "I am surrounded by idiots," he mumbled, suddenly missing his former first mate that he had killed for stealing. "Captain?" The first mate asked, not understanding. "One, plus one, plus two, plus one equals five…" the pirate captain was on the edge of losing it as he held up five fingers.

The Yellow & Red Sea

The Yellow & Red Sea

There was an illustration of the ocean and then beneath it was a legible cursive writing that said “boat” I jumped to my bed, shocked at what just came to my mind. Is it the boat from my vision? The drawing also had a reenactment of a sunset, so I’m guessing it was drawn from the perspective of someone standing on the east side of a cliff. If it’s the forest beside camp, then it’s possible for me to look for the drawing. “What are you doing?” Marco, who just entered the tent with his hair still wet, wearing sweatpants and nothing on top, asked. I immediately closed the book and placed it inside my cabinet.

The Billionaire's Hidden Heir

The Billionaire's Hidden Heir

“Liam, why don’t you show Mr. Ethan the drawing you made? The one from yesterday.” “Oh!” The boy brightened, dashing to the coffee table. He returned with a folded paper and handed it to Ethan. Ethan unfolded it carefully. The picture was rough, colorful — a child’s imagination rendered in crayons. It showed three stick figures: a woman, a man, and a little boy holding both their hands under a bright yellow sun. His chest tightened. “It’s… beautiful,” he murmured. “You drew this?” Liam nodded proudly. “That’s me, Mommy, and—” he hesitated, glancing up at Maya before finishing, “—and you.”

Divorced and Runaway: Mr. CEO Wants Me Back

Divorced and Runaway: Mr. CEO Wants Me Back

Victor knelt down to embrace her, and for a moment, everything felt right. Jasmine pulled back and proudly held up her drawing, her eyes sparkling with excitement. “Look what I made!” she exclaimed, beaming at both of us. As I stepped closer to get a better look, my heart skipped a beat. The drawing depicted three figures still holding hands, but this time, the little girl was older—taller than her parents. Underneath, she had labeled each figure the same way: Mommy, Daddy, Jasmine. I gasped, but didn’t know what to say.

Navy's Sons: Bullied by Quadruplet Stepbrothers

Tabitha’s POV We take turns sketching across the stone wall, passing the marker back and forth. We layer over each other’s drawings like we’re trying to outdo the last. Reed snickers while drawing an alien with three eyes and a meteor shaped like a dick. And then, there’s also something he claims is a “space wolf,” which I honestly think is quite cute. It’s the only decent thing he drew. We keep laughing until my stomach hurts and I’m wiping tears from my eyes. I lean over the narrow window to catch my breath.

Tides of Passion: The Pirate's Curse

Tides of Passion: The Pirate's Curse

He was young, yet his enthusiasm resonated through the ship, lifting the morale of the crew even as the enemy surged forward. As the melee unfolded, the pirate ship's captain—a man with an unmistakable presence, draped in shadows and darkness—stood atop the enemy vessel's bow. His eyes glinted with predatory glee as he held the unmistakable black flag adorned with a blood-red skull. His very presence threatened, igniting a fervor among his crew as they swarmed onto the ship, thirsting for carnage. “Prepare to taste steel!” he roared, his voice cutting through the turmoil.

The Witch's Curse

Heber took Ivan's hand: “ Wait! What is this? Yuri: “ There seem to be marks on the walls! It looks like they were marked and painted over! Haber approached the wall and noticed that in the corner of the wall a part of the wall had come off. “ This is not paint! This is a kind of paper they put here! “ Heber took off almost the entire wall. They were impressed when they saw drawings on the wooden walls. “What are those faces? “ Yuri said. Heber smiled: “ It's a sign that there is a mystery on this ship! These must be those pirates that that weird intellectual mentioned to Lissa! Ivan: “ This place gives you goosebumps! Heber: “ If the drawings exist as she said, it means that the treasure al

The wife he left behind

The wife he left behind

Priya unfolded it slowly, and laid it on the table. It was, exactly as she’d described, a child’s drawing. Rough lines, the kind only a very young child draws, a square house with a triangle roof, smoke coming from a chimney in careful zigzags, and outside it, standing in a row, six small stick figures, each one slightly different, each one clearly meant to be a specific person even though none of them had faces drawn in. Underneath, in careful, uneven child’s handwriting, the words Priya had quoted.

The storyline is good but I hope the author should refrain from so many redundant repetitive words, dialogues, side thoughts, actions of the characters, which are becoming an annoyance, tiresome to read further, just be direct with the story.

Chapter 32 and I cannot stop. A very young boy deciding to find everyone the world forgot, it sounds simple until you’re actually reading it and realising how profound it is. Dave doesn’t feel like a fictional child. He feels completely real. And every chapter ends right, this book is amazing!!!
