The wife he left behind

The wife he left behind

Priya unfolded it slowly, and laid it on the table. It was, exactly as she’d described, a child’s drawing. Rough lines, the kind only a very young child draws, a square house with a triangle roof, smoke coming from a chimney in careful zigzags, and outside it, standing in a row, six small stick figures, each one slightly different, each one clearly meant to be a specific person even though none of them had faces drawn in. Underneath, in careful, uneven child’s handwriting, the words Priya had quoted.

The storyline is good but I hope the author should refrain from so many redundant repetitive words, dialogues, side thoughts, actions of the characters, which are becoming an annoyance, tiresome to read further, just be direct with the story.

Chapter 32 and I cannot stop. A very young boy deciding to find everyone the world forgot, it sounds simple until you’re actually reading it and realising how profound it is. Dave doesn’t feel like a fictional child. He feels completely real. And every chapter ends right, this book is amazing!!!

The Wife He Never Loved

The Wife He Never Loved

This was Theo, who was four, and who believed that most missions, when you really got down to it, were secretly about cookies. “It is NOT the cookies,” Mira said. “Although.” She considered. “Maybe later it’s the cookies. But FIRST.” She unrolled their map, which was a placemat she had drawn on in marker and which her mother did not yet know about. “We are pirates. And we are going on a pirate adventure to find the treasure of…” she squinted at the placemat “…the treasure of the Sea of Behind The Couch.” “Ooh,” said Theo. The youngest, who was two and whose name was Sunny and who could not yet pronounce most words including her own name, contributed by putting a wooden spoon entirely in her

THE ROYALTY OF WOLFES

THE ROYALTY OF WOLFES

I think you want to know how you got here. Oh, so I'm no longer a suspect? I think wryly. Giving you food and tending to your wounds has somehow convinced you that I'm not a threat? I get up and go to the hiding place door. I fill my hands with sand and bring it back to him. I spread it on the floor in front of him so I can draw on it. I draw sea waves, a moon and a square floating in the water. I draw a little stick figure on it and point to the foreigner.

The wolf's destiny

The wolf's destiny

Lelandi, you’re too wet and hot for me, I notice. He always had a lewd expression in his eyes when he looked at her. He placed her on the wooden floor by slipping his arms under her. The 19th of September is Speak Like a Pirate Day, so consider that. You’ll be my sea squirt, and I’ll steal your riches. She prepared for her by slipping her hand down to the bulge in his pants and vigorously rubbing it. I won’t be the treasure, sir; I’ll be the pirate captain. He chuckled.

One-night Stand: Paint And Pen

One-night Stand: Paint And Pen

Normally, she often saw him draw with paper and pencil because he said it would make her feel better, so she was curious to see him draw with an iPad. Peter handed her the iPad so that she wouldn't have to get up: "On the way to this island, I saw the scenery here is very beautiful, so I had free time to sketch a bit." Actually on the next page is a sketch of Mia sleeping. Mia took it, she felt that the picture was not sketched as he said, but the picture was completed by him. When they got up and walked together to the dinner place, where everyone was waiting for them: “Can you send it to me when you finish drawing it later? I want to change it to my profile picture on social media.”

The First Heir

The First Heir

Seeing that the distance between them was quite appropriate, Philip took out a notebook. With a pen, he drew waves and a few figures that seemed like merpeople on it. The mermaid became excited, but the boy did not react much. Was the boy not a merman? Philip slid his pen and notebook across the floor. The boy picked them up and started to draw as Philip did. His drawing was quite sloppy, but Philip could still see a few key things, such as the symbol for highly toxic chemicals and a few words that were vague but still legible, which spelled Sammy.

love this book...the way the writer builds up the characters most especially the ML..but i was wondering why would the ML have to endure such humiliations from his inlaws when he could just show them his real 'him' as well and the enormous power that he holds considering the status of his family...w

Will Bear the Moon

Will Bear the Moon

Hopefully, we will have more to come. I pull out to show Nicoli’s drawing in the spirit of optimism. “He drew us swimming under the sea with the bear.” I beam a smile. I think it is very imaginative for him. “Quite the artist, isn’t he?” Maddie chuckles, sounding still winded. But she moves to ruffle my hair. It makes me giggle, and I lean into her hand. It’s so warm on my cold head. “Maddie-“I go a little louder, but Maddie quickly hushes me.

Descendants Of The God

Descendants Of The God

But now, Nathania studied without prompting her and she was no longer doing naughtiness. "Your Majesty, may I see the results of the painting?" Kenneth asked, approaching Nathania who was sitting on the deck of the ship, drawing a scene before her eyes. "Not good! I only use a pencil!" "How about a picture of an object that is clearer than the ocean? for example, depicting the face of someone who is on this ship!" "All right, I'll draw your face, Kenny! you don't mind, do you?" "Ok, I don't mind! but I hope the results don't disappoint!" he said while taking a seat in front of Nathania.

Forbidden Heat: Tales of untamed desires

Forbidden Heat: Tales of untamed desires

The chains bit into my wrists as the crew of the Black Leviathan dragged me onto the deck. Salt spray stung my face. I had fought like a demon when they boarded my smuggling ship, but numbers won. Now I stood before Captain Reyes, the most feared pirate in these poisoned seas. He was taller than I expected. Broad chest covered in scars and ink, dark hair tied back, eyes like storm clouds. His black coat flapped in the wind as he looked me up and down.

Kiss It Better

Kiss It Better

That ship sailed weeks ago. Because Maria’s not dumb, and she’s peeked over my shoulder plenty of times in the last few months, checking out my sketches. She knows that I draw one person way more than anyone else, his handsome face glowering from page after page of my sketchbook. I can’t help it, okay? There’s something about that man… Well, every time I lay eyes on him, my fingers itch for a pencil and blank sheet of paper. Let’s just say that.
