Roxy It is late, the sky outside is pitch black, the moon isn’t full either, a quarter moon only. Not showing me enough light as I enter the woods. I’ve parked my car under some trees out of the way to avoid anyone else being around from knowing my presence. Not that I expect that anybody else will be crazy enough to be outside in the woods at this time of night. It's gone midnight. Blake wasn’t in when I left thank goodness. The last thing I need is for him trying to snoop into my business and wonder what I am up to leaving home dressed all in black, my hoodie over my head.

I hum a catchy song while mentally calculating how many stocks I can buy with the money I just made. Suddenly, the water pressure drops. The bathroom lights flicker violently. Click. Pitch black. The power just went out. "Are you kidding me?" I grumble loudly in the dark. I quickly rinse the soap out of my hair in the dark, wrap a towel around my body, and push open the bathroom door. I stop dead in my tracks. The beautiful, starry night sky outside my giant window is completely gone. In its place hangs a massive, swollen, blood-red moon.

That afternoon felt a little stifling. Not because the house or the room was small and cramped, but because her own thoughts seemed to leave Lilith no room to truly breathe. Third Person POV The rain poured outside, leaking through the cracked roof of the abandoned warehouse. Heavy drops hit the concrete floor with a steady, rhythmic thud. Shadows stretched across the empty, dust-covered room. It was pitch black except for the dim light of a single flashlight sitting on a wooden crate. The air smelled of old rust, damp wood, and rot. It was the perfect place to hide. It was the perfect place to plan a murder even, but they weren't doing that... yet.

The night air was thick with tension as Ava and Lucas approached the abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of Silverbrook. Streetlights flickered intermittently, casting long shadows that danced across the cracked pavement.
