I took a deep breath, and then I began to sing. My voice was shaky at first, but as I got into the song, I found myself relaxing. I sang about the coffee machine's daily struggles, its joys and its sorrows. I sang about the countless cups of coffee it had dispensed, the late-night conversations it had witnessed, and the early-morning rushes it had endured.
As I finished the song, Raphael applauded, a wide smile on his face. "Bravo, Delilah. Bravo. That was...actually quite good."
