Chapter 7 Ana's POV I stared blankly at my small bag that was stuffed with all the clothes I had. I heard a knock on the door, Marcus had called me earlier to inform me that a driver was going to come pick me to take me to his penthouse. I was really doing this. I picked up my back and pulled the door open. " Hello Miss Miller, I'm Burnley and Mr Blinge sent me here to pick you." " You can call me Ana." I said with a small smile.

“Thank you so much.” Anaya watched as Samira smiled at the customer who turned around to leave. As soon as Samira met Anaya’s gaze from the opposite side of the road, her smile dropped instantly. Someone else came to purchase something from her kiosk but she remained unmoving, her eyes fixated on Anaya until the person tapped her. Anaya locked her car and crossed the road, heading towards the kiosk. When faced with no other option but to meet her uncle, Anaya searched about Charles and read about how his company got bankrupt and how he had to sell his properties in order to pay his debt.

I muttered under my breath, my fist clenching clutching onto the fabric of my cheap chiffon dress as I stared at the picture again. He was indeed curled up in the arms of another woman while I was being forced to make a hard decision. Why did I think that a wealthy billionaire like him would choose a poor woman like me with nothing to her name?
