He kissed the tip of my nose and reached into his pocket. "I want to make sure it doesn't hurt," he whispered to me, and then kissed me again. I nodded at him to say okay. I could not see what he was doing, but I heard the pop of a tube and then it closing shut. Then Todd turned back to me and kissed me gently.
