The One Who Waited

The One Who Waited

He was the top student at Sterling High School, a very outstanding guy. What hurt him most was that the girl he liked really liked that other boy. Year after year, Luther kept telling himself to let her go, that they would never be together in this lifetime. Still, he could not accept it. He had met her first, after all. Like holding a one-way ticket that would never reach its destination, Luther waited for eight years. The pain of longing even drove him to pray at churches again and again. He only wanted one chance, one opportunity to stand before her openly and proudly.

My Boyfriend's Dad?

My Boyfriend's Dad?

"Like November. Like the dark. Like the roses dying. Like the oak tree holding on. Like waiting for something that is not coming." "What are you waiting for." "That is the thing. I do not know. I am just waiting. I have always been waiting. For Sam to come back. For my parents to be okay. For someone to see me. For someone to stay. And now people are staying. And I am still waiting. Waiting for them to leave. Waiting for the other shoe to drop. Waiting for the happiness to end." "And has it ended?"

Worth Waiting For

Worth Waiting For

Her own pair of golden eyes had an empty hole burning in her chest. She had yet to see him and that concerned her more than anything. “Where’s Landon?”

I can't open this book. I've already paid for it and now I can't open it to read it again. I noticed that the first one "Worth Fighting For " has this one attached but wants me to pay for the attached chapters and I already did. Sorry but I'm pissed.

Another amazing story in this series! Again, I wish we could’ve gotten a little more at the end on the progression of their relationship, but otherwise I loved this story! So far have read the first two within 24 hours lol about to knock out the 3rd, too. Great job author! 😊

Revenge of the Hideous Lady

Revenge of the Hideous Lady

She bowed deeply to the audience to show her gratitude, then gave the musicians a nod to inform them to continue playing… In the next second, the music to Encounter began playing. Hannah started singing along to the music again— “I hear winter leaving. Waking up in a certain month of a certain year.” “I think of, I wait, and I hope for something that might not happen in the future.” “On a cloudy evening, perhaps someone’s waiting for me outside the car.” “Looking left, right, and forward, how many turns do I have to make before love finally arrives?” “Who will I encounter? What will we talk about?” “How far away is the person I’m waiting for?”

The storyline is too good to be true! I love all the leads and emotions are shown very clearly... but nowadays, it looks like story is still dragged out... same drama, same praises, same scandals... either this should end on a good note or may be Author should change the perspective.

a lot is going on with the story and I feel like Stanley was being left behind in this story...I think y should focus more on the two main character...where is Stanley's point of view when xyla were being attack and bullied..that's all but great story though but decided to drop it...

The Rich Cinderella

The Rich Cinderella

The heading of the poem was ' Waiting for too long' it went like this- " How long should I wait For the suspense is becoming too long And the feeling is so wrong They say I should wait for the right time Until the good things come For the good things come to those who wait What exactly should I wait for? For I'm afraid it would be the longest wait of my life But I'm going to wait anyway I guess it is worth a wait I ' ll wait for my life to turn out for the best As I would be walking away from the worst Breaking free from my old nest

LUNAR LOVE : A Forbidden Romance

LUNAR LOVE : A Forbidden Romance

As each minute passes by, the parking lot begins to get emptied. I've been waiting for more than 30 minutes and my mate is here to show up in front of mean invite me over to whatever we are going so she can show me the awesome stuff about the movies. When the clock is 5:00, that's the time that I realized that Rebecca's not going to come for me. Yes they're still teeny, tiny hope that is lurking inside my heart. Maybe she forgets? Maybe if I wait a few more minutes, more hours, she'd come back until me to join her. SoI decided to wait for more hours until the sun is completely divorced by darkness, the orange guy has been replaced with darkness, that's scattered across the sky, the glint of

Don't Wait for the Rain to Clear

Don't Wait for the Rain to Clear

I love you. I had spent years of my life desperately waiting to hear those exact words. I had waited for them on those dark nights when the electricity was cut off in our tiny rented apartment. I had waited for them when my back was peeling from hauling heavy freight at the warehouse, in so much pain I couldn't straighten my spine. I had waited for them when I stared down at that slice of mango cake at the celebratory dinner. And I had even waited for them the exact moment that HR disciplinary notice was blasted out to the entire company.

How I Met My Wife.

How I Met My Wife.

I am a person who is going to wait. I am a person who is going to wait, and I am going to wait, and I am going to wait, until the man I love comes home and says the thing he wrote on the sticky note, in the way that men say things out loud to women they love when the men are ready to say the things out loud. I am a person who is going to wait. To be continued...

Wait for Me in the Alley

Wait for Me in the Alley

The days that followed, I went to that alley every single day. The alley looked just like it had years ago. The graffiti on the walls had changed a few times, but the streetlamp was still the same dim yellow. I'd sit on the steps beneath it, hugging my knees, waiting from dusk till dark—watching silhouettes come and go at the mouth of the alley, shadows stretching long and then shrinking short.
