A Heart Misfired

A Heart Misfired

" … Edward frowned deeply. When he spoke, it sounded like he was grinding his teeth. "Jasmine, your sister is about to kill herself, and you're still thinking about a handkerchief? "Is romance really that important to you? Important enough to make you this cruel?" The moon hung high in the sky. It was already late at night. Edward turned and stormed off, his sleeve snapping in the wind. I stood alone in the middle of the street, the cold wind making my head spin. However, the colder my heart felt, the tighter I held onto the engagement document.

A Heart Closed to Love

A Heart Closed to Love

he screamed. Hopelessness washed over me as I watched the tip of the blade get closer and closer. I squeezed my eyes shut, but the pain that I expected to feel never came. I opened my eyes, only to see James shielding me. The knife had pierced his heart through his back, and blood leaked endlessly from his lips. "I'm… filled with so much regret… Katherine. If I had… cherished you… perhaps we… could have grown old… together…" He reached out a hand, wanting to caress my cheek, but in the end, it fell bonelessly to his side before it reached me.

Affairs of the heart

Affairs of the heart

He thought. He was not upset by the slap. He knew it was well deserved he deserved more. But he was pained by the thought that he had hurt her again. Instead of making amends, he behaved worse. "What's wrong with me why do I behave like a hormonally charged teenager". But that's how it had always been with her. He desired her and loved her to the point of madness. No one had ever sent his pulse racing the way she did. Aarya didnt stops until she reached her room. Collapsing on the bed she sobbed. This was worse than when he left her, worse than her miscarriage.

A DROP OF BLOOD

A DROP OF BLOOD

I let it pour, wetting my shirt as I cried everything out. I Katherine Thawne, has never been hurt this way before. It felt new...and it raw. Indeed, Heartbreak is the father of all prickled needles. TBC

Heartache in Yellowstone

Heartache in Yellowstone

I won't be able to face her if I don't believe the lies. I sneak a glance at Andrew to find he looks as anxious as I feel. His heart rate is still high, and that worries me. The past year of his life has been extremely stressful. Humans aren't built for that. Their hearts can give out easily when pushed. Not to mention his age. He has to be close to fifty. Heart attacks are very common among humans his age. I park, and we both exhale together before opening our doors. No words can soothe the anxiety now...only action.

I work three jobs *door dash *United supermarkets *nail tech I also have three toddlers. I'm sorry if my updates aren't conducive to your schedule, but I am unable to write more at this time. Constantly being told to hurry is draining my passion for writing. Forming plots takes time.

The book is overall well written. But it’s so darn sad. Im about 1/2 done and need to take a break from all the heartbreak. I now see why it’s named heartache in Yellowstone because man is there ever. I will wait until finished and hopefully they get their HEA.

Heart in Ashes

Heart in Ashes

"Hmph, but I want more… Send her home quickly and come to me." "You little minx. Follow me in your car later. We'll do it in the car." "You're such a bad boy!" Soon, the sounds of sticky, intimate kissing came through the line. Luna's hands trembled as she ended the call abruptly. She stared at the cake in front of her, a wave of nausea and revulsion washing over her. It felt as if something was gripping her heart, twisting it until she was breathless, dizzy, and utterly uncomfortable. Gripping the fork, she stabbed at the chocolate plaque that read "Happy 5th Anniversary," smashing it to pieces.

My Savage Husband

My Savage Husband

"You know Lindsay, I hate my fate, I hate being found with him, I hate all the memories of him!" I screamed while hitting my chest which hurt inside, it would never heal. "If he had never been nice to me, there would never have been any sweet memories between us. He, he was a cheater, he was mean, mean to me." I cried like a hungry puppy, suffering, tormented by this feeling of uncertainty in my heart. I want to make it shatter into puzzle pieces that no longer have a shape, like my heart is currently broken, scattered everywhere. "Leah—" Lindsay pulled me into her arms. Stroking my hair gently. This feeling of love and heartache is like the poison that attacks my body slowly, weakly, and he

Heart Given, Heart Broken

Heart Given, Heart Broken

They went to the same restaurant Xavier and I went to on our first date, smiling in a carefree manner as she sat in the place where I used to sit. She wanted every memory I had with Xavier to be filled with her shadow in his heart. I felt like I was now forced to watch a movie that didn't belong to me play out before my eyes. Misty told me to stop watching, but I couldn't stop myself from scrolling further. The pain in my chest eventually grew numb. Eventually, there was nothing left but an unexpected calmness in my heart. As it turned out, even emotions didn't bother showing anymore once someone had reached peak disappointment in someone else.

Rejected By The Ruthless Omega's Mate

Rejected By The Ruthless Omega's Mate

‘Perhaps I should just leave him and live out the rest of my life alone. Her voice cracked slightly, as though her resolve was crumbling. As tears brimmed in her eyes, she fought the urge to cry out, ‘I’ve lost everything! Why should he care? What does he see in me? A sudden, sharp pain erupted in her chest, as if a dagger had pierced it. She gasped sharply as she doubled over in agony, clutching her injured heart. It felt as though someone had stabbed her repeatedly, rendering her unable to breathe or move. Pain shot through her entire torso, threatening to rip her apart. The sensation took her breath away as fear gripped her heart with paralyzing ferocity.

As the moon began to rust

As the moon began to rust

Oftentimes it broke on its own, other times it had been shattered: through carelessness or cruelty, and thrown against the wall, it had left stains, almost like the gray one above her bed. But on this winter morning Helen's heart didn't just break: it disintegrated to its elements, and that’s the worst heartbreak of all. Deep inside the chest, atomising hearts leave a void, as hostile to life as the desert. The painful thing isn't even the moment they’re destroyed. It is not the sudden sting as they fall apart, but the creeping, everlasting agony thereafter. Atomising hearts dissolve into a zillion parts, so tiny that they are invisible. So intangible that they can never be rejoined, and th
