Her Eyes of Emerald and Fire
She taps the bar in front of him and he looks up at her,
“Tommy, breathe. What’s the problem, lay it out for me.” She leans forward over the bar to take the piece of paper he holds out to her. He closes his eyes and takes two deep steadying breaths before looking back at her and trying to explain. Ash notices his eyes are a dark red colour, not glowing but an unusual colour for a human. He wonders what the kid was. He sighs,
“I just don’t get it. It’s a riddle, kind of. But it’s also supposed to be a problem, I’m confused as to the problem with it.” She takes the paper, reads it over again, then nods, handing it back.
