A soft, pulsating blue light emanated from its carved lines. It grew warmer, and the light strengthened, pushing back the darkness of my prison. Then, it pulsed. Not randomly. A distinct, rhythmic thrum, like a heartbeat. And with each pulse, a corresponding glyph on the wall opposite me faintly illuminated for a second. A sequence. A pattern.

“No... this cannot be!” The light escalated, pushing back the shadows and lighting up the chamber with a blinding brilliance. Ethan and Clara felt a surge of energy as the light wrapped them, reviving their strength and pushing back the darkness. The figure screamed in rage, its form disintegrating as the light consumed it. The shadows around it dissolved into nothingness, leaving only the orb at the center of the chamber, cracked and weakened.
