Gods, Gold, and Glory

Gods, Gold, and Glory

“Draw me.” Goldie looks at Darryl and takes the pencil. He moves the tip of the pencil on the paper and begins to scribble a couple of circles and lines. Darryl watches him with intent, The drawing highlighted some of his facial features more than the others, almost like in a cartoonish style. “Good,” Darryl nods at him, “Now, draw what they did to you in Bilibid. Did they torture you? Blackmail? Kidnapped? ”

ALPHA Arthur: The Mate Who Lied

ALPHA Arthur: The Mate Who Lied

He flew up the stairs to the nursery. The room was dark. The window was still open, the rain soaking the floorboards. "Solomon?" Phineas whispered. "I’m here, Mother." The boy stepped out from the shadows behind the wardrobe. He was wearing his small black tunic. He held a piece of charcoal in one hand. He had been drawing on the wall. A circle. With a wolf inside. A wolf with no eyes. "We have to go," Phineas said, grabbing his hand. "Your... your uncle is at the river. He wants to meet you."

Hidden Alpha's Daughter

Hidden Alpha's Daughter

Cody was in a good mood, and I didn't want to risk changing that. The day seemed to go by slowly again, and I was starting to feel off again by lunch. I wasn't hungry, so I skipped the line, went straight to the table, and pulled out my sketchbook and a pencil from my backpack. Flipping to a blank page, I started to draw the cafeteria, the other students, and even the staff there. My goal was to draw the new kid but to make it look like he wasn't my goal. I was so focused on drawing I didn't notice when Cody sat down until he snatched the pencil from my hand. Looking up from the book, I smiled at him, and he handed me back the pencil. "Where's your lunch?"

One Night with a Lycan: A Big Girl’s Transformation

One Night with a Lycan: A Big Girl’s Transformation

He had taken very seriously Cindy’s instruction to be quick. The boy came right up to Nolan this time, stopping only when their toes were an inch apart. Panting from his sprint, he craned his little neck back and stared straight up at the prince. Then he thrust up his hands, proudly holding up a crayon drawing, presenting it like an offering to the gods. Nolan took the paper in his hands delicately. It had been folded and unfolded in many places and was battered at the edges, looking like it had been carried around for quite a while.

I have really enjoyed this book as a whole… so far. I’m about 70% of the way into the story and find myself mostly happy with the book. I’m just wondering, why does the Prince have such a hang up about weight? It just seams a bit passive aggressive on the negative comments, and name calling.

Could someone please inform us when there will be a new chapter? Its been weeks now with no chapters once a day is hard enough, weeks with out correspondence as to when to expect more does not seem right.

Hybrid: Supernatural Bad Boys I

Hybrid: Supernatural Bad Boys I

He asks glumly. I shake my head and look back at my book. Every problem looks like it’s written in a foreign language. “Not good, Ponyboy. I freaking hate math. What’s up with you?” Ponyboy leans his elbow on my desk and mutters huskily. “Yeah, I hate it too. So, I thought maybe we could do something this weekend. Are you in?” My head snaps in his direction. I’ve never been so surprised. “Are you asking me out, Ponyboy?” I ask.

I Turned Gay After A Drunken Night

I Turned Gay After A Drunken Night

Hopefully, that was what Hayden drew today. Hayden paused and lowered his head while rubbing his nape. He looked resistant, but they all stared at him with a wronged expression as if saying, 'We've all shown you our drawings; you can't hide yours from us' which made him sigh and decide to show them his drawing; it wouldn't hurt anyway. 'Hayden drew a man.' Their boiling excitement and curiosity cooled down immediately. And they sat back in their chairs—in disappointment—upon seeing the drawing.

A Taste of the Bratva King

A Taste of the Bratva King

The way I'll never get to do. Because men like me don't get to be fathers. We're the monsters parents warn their children about. "Come on, Dénes," Peter says gently. "Let's let Mr. Sidorov get back to work." "But I want to show him my drawing!" The boy digs in his pocket and produces a folded piece of paper, crumpled from being carried around. He unfolds it carefully, revealing a crayon drawing of stick figures standing in front of a building. "This is you, and this is me, and this is Papa, and this is the restaurant!"

Spoiled by four billionaires

Spoiled by four billionaires

Mariana answered politely. Jeremy sat on the sofa with his legs crossed like a little adult, holding onto a drawing board, he seemed to be drawing. The picture was of the pony standing in the living room, staring blankly. Obviously, the pony was not used to this strange environment. From time to time, they would cry out a few times, looking pitiful. "Mommy quickly say hello to it. It likes me so much." Carolina was extremely excited, and her face was red. She pointed to the pony and said that.

Betrayed By The Billionaire

Betrayed By The Billionaire

Chloe walked back to the nursery to fetch the boy. "Liam, dinner's ready. Did you finish your draw—" Her voice died in her throat. Chloe’s hands balled into trembling fists as she stared at the canvas. It wasn't a happy family portrait. It was a depiction of hell. In the center of the paper, Liam had drawn three figures, but they weren't people. Two of them were towering "monsters," and the third was a small, broken boy cowering in a dark corner. The first monster was a man with eyes the size of saucers, wearing a tattered T-shirt. In one hand, he brandished a heavy belt; in the other, a glowing cigarette butt that he was pressing toward the crying boy on the ground.

The Crimson Letter

The Crimson Letter

Isobel waited, poised. “Did she say anything else?” Sloane asked finally. “Only this.” Isobel reached into her skirt pocket and withdrew a folded piece of old paper. Not new. Not even remotely recent. Yellowed, brittle at the corners. Sloane took it carefully. Inside was a child’s drawing. Crayon markings were faded. It was a crude house, all windows and too-tall doors. A girl in red. Another girl with no face. On the back, in soft pencil:
