Novel & Cerita Poppy Playtime Factory In Real Life

What can I say, they are growing boys? As soon as we were done eating, the triplets talked their Poppy into playing another game of hide n seek. As you can tell, they really enjoy playing that game. They are trying to figure out how everyone keeps finding them so quickly. Poppy doesn’t find them as quick; he wants to give them a sense of the hunt, at least that’s what he says. It keeps them busy for about an hour when one of the cell guards comes rushing in yelling making the hairs on my arms stand up.

All I had to do was find a great time. “Soon, baby. Aunt Christy is busy right now, but we will play one of these days.” “Busy? Why are you busy?” Poppy asked, her voice coated with curiosity. I'm busy taking care of my husband? I wanted to add, but stopped myself from blurting them out loud. “Of work? I'm busy working.” I transferred the call to the other side. “You're busy? You sure?” she asked. “Y-yeah? Why does it seem that you're not believing me?”

I push down the tightness in my chest and head back to the fire. When I get there, the music is louder, and the guys are crowded around, passing shots and laughing like idiots. Ray notices me first and waves me over. “We’re playing Truth or Dare,” he says, grinning. There are several shots lined up before each log, and I make my way to the one I abandoned earlier. The girls are off to the side, playing some other game, shrieking every now and then. Ray makes it my turn because of course he does, and the bastard looks at me with a glint in his eye.

Poppy sat in the second-floor living room in front of her room, waiting for Capri to arrive, who had scheduled an appointment with her. She looked out the window at the clear afternoon sky, which showed that the sun was about to set. “Last night was really fun. That was the first time I had partied with other people,” Poppy thought. She was excitedly thinking about the next event that Donna would prepare for. The sound of footsteps brought her attention to the door. Capri appeared shortly afterwards.

The place would give the witch from Hansel and Gretel a serious case of envy. It looks spectacular, all in pastel colours. I nod happily as I take it all in. We started setting up yesterday. The stalls are set up so the kids and adults can all play games. Pop-pop is setting up the grills because that is his job. His words, not mine, so whatever makes him happy and nanna well, she is busy directing what goes where with momma.

I specifically choose the community playground because there was no way in hell I was going to meet up with him in a private place alone. I looked at the time on my phone and saw that it was almost 2 o'clock so I had like an hour to get ready and head out. There was not much to do cause I already prepared at Bianca's house, I was still wearing her clothes that she gave to me and I didn't see a need to change it so I just changed my shoes to a flat shoe to enable me move around more easily in case I needed to fight or flee anyone or anywhere easily.

"Thank you for the food," "You are welcome," she replied. From her posture I could tell she has news and it was probably great from the way she was smiling brightly. I was curious as to what she wanted to say, so I asked. "Why are you here?" "The lack is going on a run tomorrow, that means the ack house would be empty," she wiggled her eyebrows and I got excited with the news. "Yes!" I jumped up. "But, be careful and don't take things too much, that will be noticable, okay," Blossom warned and I nodded. " Thank you B," Issac and I said together.

I just ignore her calls and go about my day, I don’t have time for the bullshit. I heard that Poppie got fired from the temp agency. Word on the street is that she’s been hanging out with Marcus having these ’play parties ’cause she needs money. I also heard she may be strung out as well. If that is true, I really need to find her because she needs to get clean in order to work. It was early in the morning by the time I reached Poppie’s apartment. If she ain’t got a job, then she should be at home, I thought. I walked up the steps and rang her doorbell. I could hear her coming down the stairs to open the door.

Adrian pulled into an underground garage, the heavy metal gate shutting behind us automatically. “This place is safe,” he said. “Reinforced. Off-grid. Only three people know it exists.” We stepped out of the car. The silence in the garage felt unnatural, like the world above had vanished and left us in a different realm entirely. Adrian opened a door that led to a sleek, modern space lined with security screens and digital maps displaying red markers scattered across the city. “Sit.” His tone left no room for refusal. I sat. Adrian paced once, twice, then turned to face me. The tension rolling off him bordered on dangerous.

Chapter 10 Ben’s POV The excited screams and playful laughter of what sounded like a thousand caffeine-fuelled children filled our ears the second we pushed open the heavy red doors of Playzone. It was a wall of sound, a physical force that hit you in the chest. The air inside was a thick, humid soup of sweat, feet, fried nuggets, and industrial-strength coffee, mingled with the faint, underlying scent of disinfectant that was fighting a losing battle. It was the kind of place that could make a grown man weep, but for Henry, it was the promised land.
