The Perfect Husband (Lee Brothers #1)
Herald said, stopping in front of a set of ornate double doors, “is your room, Poppy.”
She pushed the door open, revealing a space that left Poppy breathless. I could clearly hear her gasp as she took in the sight—the room was enormous, far larger than the annex house she used to have. The walls were painted in soft, calming hues, and the furniture was luxurious yet tasteful. A king-sized bed with an intricately carved headboard dominated the room, flanked by elegant nightstands. There was a sitting area by the large windows that overlooked the gardens, complete with plush armchairs and a coffee table. A chandelier hung from the ceiling, casting a warm glow over the entire room.
