Once in his office he immediately went and pulled two specific books off his shelf, then sat down and opened the first one. He didn't have to open the second book, what he was looking for he found a quarter of the way into the first book. He discovered why he couldn't heal Blake all the way and it has everything to do with the vampire who was concerned about him.... His mate! He knew he had read it before in one of these two books and he found it. It's not unheard of, a werewolf to have a vampire mate. It's happened before, but it's extremely rare!
