Reborn in the Apocalypse: My Level-Up System

Reborn in the Apocalypse: My Level-Up System

She had begun to turn into them. “No, no, I can't be one of them. No, I don't want to.” She cried, thinking back to before this apocalypse began. Back to when things were okay. Her family was still alive. Except they had died years back before the apocalypse even began. She was just a lonely girl, who met Ryan and fell in love. Barely conscious and close to turning, Ara dragged herself toward the toxic river near the edge of the city. The black water churned violently below, filled with chemical waste, rotting corpses, blood, and dangerous liquids dumped there after the apocalypse began.

Saved by the Archangel

Saved by the Archangel

" I'm just saying, I don't want to disturb anything, but the city is becoming chaos. I think it would be wise to leave before we are stuck in any barrier they put so they don't let us out. If the country intends to go to war, it will want to keep everyone inside their homes. In fact, around the police station, some barriers to control traffic had already been placed. Humanity was moving towards the end of those punishments. And I didn't know why I felt so heavy and sad. Maybe I already knew that the ending was not as pleasant as I imagined. "Do you think they can do that?" Asked Anne, shocked, turning to Zylah." Will they confine us and wait until they have enough answers to all the bizarren

Reborn: Romance in the Apocalypse

Reborn: Romance in the Apocalypse

Narrowing her eyes, she asked, "Zayla, he's the one who saved you? But I heard that after the first rescue team left Zone A, the zombies went into a frenzy. By the time the second team arrived, no one who had been left behind in Zone A had survived. How did you make it out?" I wasn't entirely sure what she was getting at. Shrugging, I said, "Does it matter? I'm alive. That's enough." "Of course it matters. The virus wasn't even in Zone A before, and then suddenly, right after you announced your engagement, the outbreak started? A little too convenient, don't you think?" She let the implication hang in the air before adding, "The apocalypse is beyond our control, but we can't rule out the pos

Scorched Apocalypse: Abandoned for a Bottle of Water

Scorched Apocalypse: Abandoned for a Bottle of Water

After returning to Camp Arthor, I settled all of Sasha's paperwork and placed her at the hospital while Leo stayed by my side and followed me around. "You know that you don't have to keep following me around, don't you? I'm just a regular researcher now," I said with a sigh. After arriving at this base camp, the water crisis had been temporarily resolved for now. But there was an even greater challenge on the way, and it required more attention. Every researcher was desperately trying to find a way to end the apocalypse.

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

Charlie was extremely surprised and blurted out, “Uncle, what were the books my parents were reading? Do you remember?” Christian thought for a moment, saying, “If I remember correctly, it should be titled something like ‘Apocalyptic Book’, but I can't remember exactly.” Charlie widened his eyes and subconsciously asked, “Uncle, are you sure it was the Apocalyptic Book?!” Christian suddenly came to a realization and said, “Yes, yes, yes! It's called the Apocalyptic Book! The Preface to the Apocalyptic Book sounded strange to me at first. I thought it was a classic book, but your dad said it was the key to opening another world. I always thought he was a bit crazy…”

My Family Regrets Their Biasness During The Apocalypse

My Family Regrets Their Biasness During The Apocalypse

“Dear, I’m begging you… Just let me in! I’ll be whatever you want me to be! I’ll do anything you ask! I gave him a dismissive smile, turned around, and closed the door. James continued to pound frantically on the door from outside. I did not feel any sympathy for him. Instead, I picked up a novel and began reading. James shouted until midnight. His voice was hoarse, and he collapsed. I never opened the door again. Two years later, the frozen apocalypse finally ended, and I finally opened my door. As soon as I stepped outside, the stench of blood and decay hit me. They were all dead. Their bodies were mangled, torn apart, and devoured by others. I immediately contacted the police. The frozen

As The World Dies Upon Me

As The World Dies Upon Me

As soon as they arrived in the classroom, Arthur shouted, "Guys, something crazy happened at the main gate. A guy is making a ruckus at the gate and when the guards tried to him, he suddenly attacked and bit the arms of one of the guards." Their classmates immediately gathered around, "What? Seriously? Is that for real?" Lily said puzzledly. "Well yeah, I'm not making a tale, you'll be hearing it from all across the school very soon." Arthur clarified. "Since you said that the guy bit the guard, maybe he's a zombie?" John, one of their classmates, said, "That's the only possible thing I can think of." "Or he's a vampire disguised as a human?" Raven joins the discussion, "Why would he bite so

World of Tomorrow

World of Tomorrow

With the US of A still suffering the effects of the Black Tuesday market crash of '29 in nearly every market sector— heavy industry, construction, farming, logging, fishing and mining in particular— and abroad, with political tensions high in Europe and Germany’s chancellor’s aggressive foreign policy and large scale rearmament, there were growing concerns of another war as European countries proclaimed their alliances and polarized against each other. To Evelyn’s post-war generation, raised by parents alienated by the hopelessly narrow-minded, avaricious and passionless policies of its global leaders, suffering under growing income disparities only intensified her desires to curb the power

I've barely been able to put this story down. I absolutely love it. I love how descriptive the story is. And it has made me want to have been able to go to that World's Fair. It is a beautiful love story and I can't wait to finish it.

I am only to Chapter 22, but this book is Amazing so far and by far my favorite. I love historical fiction and this piece is a gem. I read the Author's book about Grace and Juliet and just had to jump right into this one as some characters are the same.

After the Downfall

After the Downfall

Hell, even when he wasn’t nearby tingles persisted in every part of my body, as if my skin was buzzing with energy, anticipating the second his body would come into contact with mine. Saint and I continued trudging through the trees on two feet, Katya still in the lead as I processed everything. It was true that this post-apocalyptic earth was treacherous, and the next day was not a guarantee. Although, it appeared not every piece of this planet’s terrain had been touched by mankind’s toxic weapons. This woodland I was presently traveling through served as a near epitome of perfection with its plentiful plant life and fauna available for me to peruse. Even so, the warmth radiating through me
