Practical Magic Aunts Novels & Stories

I sat up again and picked up the spell book from the bedside table. I flipped through the pages, not sure what I was looking for, but I stopped the moment my eyes fell on a few anomalies in the book. At the centre was pieces of a few pages. It looked like it had been ripped out from the spell book. But why? My curiosity had been peaked. I suddenly recalled a certain statement my aunt made during the lecture she gave me on the first day of my training. She certain magic, that I did not need to learn. She seemed very secretive about it, but that only told me that she was trying to hide that magic from me, and the torn out pages was further proof of my claim. But why would she be hiding it? May

I smiled, picking up the book from my bedside table “I’ll also be reading all the diaries of past wizards that I can, whenever I have free time. This one seems especially interesting. It was written by my great-aunt. Uncle Kent gave it to me…” “Oh, you’re falling for Kent’s bullshit again.” she grumbled “You can try practicing all the spells written there, but if you’re not under the Goddess’s mercy, none of it will do any good. She’s the only one you should turn to for help, no matter what purpose you want to use your magic for.”

He watched Killian with fascination, his lips curling. “I wondered how long it would take for your blood to show itself.” Killian staggered back, breath ragged, shadows writhing around him like a cloak. He wanted to stop, but the magic wanted more. His rage was its feast, and it was still hungry. “Seize him!” Averre roared. More guards surged forward. Killian’s vision blurred red, his heart hammering faster and faster until he couldn’t tell if it was his pulse or the vault of shadows in his chest.

Aunt catches Jack with his pants down. >>>>>>>>>> Movie Magic Living next door to your relative does have a lot of disadvantages. You have to be careful when you come and go, who you hang out with, and what girls you bring home when your parents are away. The last one, is what started me on my road to sexual awakenings, so to speak.

I had prepared for this moment, for this war. I reached out with my senses, the familiar hum of Aunt Belle’s protective magic wrapping around my territory like an impenetrable shield. Her enchantments were powerful and ancient, and no magic could breach this place now. If Andrew thought he could sneak in with his usual tricks, appearing as his faceless shadow to strike from the darkness, he was in for a surprise. There would be no more ambushes. No more tricks. This time, it was blood for blood—life for life.

My father says, referring to my Aunt Lil, he has always called her Red. The Raven is her pet Raven that her Grandmother gave her, Goddess knows how old it is but it’s still going strong. My Aunt can harness an animal and control them as if she is them. The old world would call it mage, it’s an old and very rare magic. It’s something only very few know about my Aunt as some call it black magic. “OK, so what is the mission, when do we leave and who is going?” I ask, my father leans back in his seat eyeing me for a moment before he crosses his arms.

Elara’s POV "You need to understand where it all began," my mother starts, while she helps apply ointment on my aunt's wounds. She mutters some incantations under her breath, stretching her hands over my aunt's chest. Yet again, like magic, her wounds disappeared. “Beautiful, isn’t it?’’ My aunt asked. “Scary’s more the word.’’ I admit, setting down the book. “Elara, you don’t have to be afraid of magic.’’

—and frowned. I smiled, wiggling my fingers at him. He rolled his eyes and stormed over to one of the tables, where he promptly sat down on the bench with a huff and laid his head on his arms. My aunt leaned close, dropping her voice so only I could hear. “I hope you’re prepared to do what’s necessary.” I shot her a look. “I can handle it.” “This is a far more serious matter than a fake pregnancy,” she said, narrowing her eyes. “This sort of magic is already prohibited by the Council. Furthermore, as a non-mage, you shouldn’t be using magic at all.”

Thankfully, Auntie moved past it to refocus the conversation. “What’s so peculiar about this situation is the mate bond between Theo and both you and Eva.” She drummed her fingers on her chin. “It sounds like old magic; I’ll need to go back to the magical libraries to do more research.” I couldn’t help the gratitude that was surely written all over my face as we locked eyes. Auntie smiled softly at the sight of it. “Your parents would be so proud of you – both of them,” she emphasized, even as I doubted my father would be so proud.

The girl is gorgeous until she sneers at me, her eyes looking me up and down. "Watch where you are going!" She shouts in the most dramatic way possible. "And what are you wearing? If you are a student, you need to wear the color of your house. Aren't you sorted yet?" "Sorted?" I ask. Two other girls are glaring at me from behind the blonde girl, clearly her little minions. They all wear the same blue cheerleading clothes, and blondie got pointy ears—definitely Fae. "At Magic Academy, there are four houses; each one represents an element—as you can see, we all belong in the house of water. It values beauty, but beauty doesn't seem important to you since you're wearing those clothes."
