“You said you don’t have access to your magic. So if we managed to find the grimoire, are you still able to do the spell?” She reluctantly nodded before tapping her thumb on my hand in reassurance. “Yes. We’ll ask the help of the gods.” “Thank you, Aunt,” I said before she disappeared from my sight. I blinked my eyes for a couple of times and turned my back to face Agatha and Lucas. They waited for me patiently and as soon as they noticed that my aunt had left, Agatha started moving closer to me. “You took almost forever,” she remarked, wrapping her arms around herself from the cold.

“Tonight, we’re going to make a very special kind of magic. The strongest of them all.” “Daniel Jones!” Aunt Mildred barks from the entrance. “What do you think you’re doing?” “This is none of your business, Mildred. Go back to your room. I’m harnessing her energy. A child’s energy is the strongest of them all.” “Not. Like. That,” she says, biting off every word. “She is too young. And your own daughter. It’s sacrilege.”

James gently covered my eyes, his voice slow and heavy as he spoke to Sean, "If you can't see clearly, might as well keep your eyes shut for good." That was when Sean's begging hit my ears. "Uncle, please, don't kill me! It's all a big mix-up." I pulled James's hand away just in time to catch the fear and fury in his eyes. Mandy was so petrified by James that she lost control of her bladder.

Rita The hall buzzed with energy as students gathered for their first practical magic class. The space, usually reserved for assemblies, had been transformed—circles of salt and herbs marked workstations, and the air hummed with the residue of old spells. Rita stood beside Freda, watching as the instructor—a stout witch with silver-streaked braids—demonstrated a basic energy channeling exercise. "Focus on the earth beneath you," the teacher intoned. "Draw its power, but do not force it. Let it rise naturally."

Bruce asks me. I shake my head. "I could use a ride if you don't mind. I am not sure I am ready to drive today," I say. I know I am not ready to drive. "I can take you, but first, I have to tell you something. I made some calls while you were sorting through some things. I wanted to give you some space. I found both of your uncles. They own a little magic shop in New Orleans. It is called Elemental Magic," Bruce says.

As Nella was staring at that car slowly the window of that car went down and the face of that person was now clearly visible. He gave a signal to Nella by his hand to come and sit in the car. By which Nella again became furious.

“I’m also really happy, Daddy, because I managed to spend time with you. And I learned to walk without feet ... and I ate ice cream.” “Another lesson I want you to know from the beginning is to avoid doing magic with sceptics around. This is forbidden.” “I know, Daddy. The professors told us thousands of times.” “And also keep in mind that magic isn’t meant to ease our life. For example, to ‘move’ just because we don’t want to climb stairs, or eat ice-cream whenever we want using magic, or ...” “I know, Daddy. They told it to us too. We’ll only use it when absolutely necessary, only when it’s really needed.
