Novel & Cerita Practical Magic Novel

“Since the rest of the library was empty I assume that the necromancer walked to the abandoned house, took the books off the shelves and forgot this one behind” Elizabeth opened the book and rummaged through the pages “This is a harmless book for the most part, it is mostly cabalist magic or ones based on bending nature…nothing too sinister, with some exceptions, but significant since a lot of people practising magic use the book as an initiation” the enthusiasm on her voice was contiguous, it was definitely a clue. She smiled as she perused trough the tome while she reached a page that was titled invisibility, the book suggested it was a ring there was a footnote about it being more of a cl

After a short while of harboring the sands, she lifted out a book. She handed it over to the pregnant lady who has been referred to as Juliet. "This is a therimoire, the book of accounts." "The wisdom of the primordial being; The First Magic, passed down through ages, it was found by the goddess Morgana. She amplified it, removed the original spells to prevent destruction amongst warlocks and witches and she rewrote it." The woman added to her words. She waved her hand in a rainbow form and a purple hex surrounded the house.

James was just coming up the stairs to find me. “Did you get everything you need babe?” He grabbed my back from me and threw it over his shoulder and wrapped his other arm around me. “Yep I am all good to go” He looked at the book in my hand “Offensive and defensive magic aye” “I need to make sure that I am off use to you guys” “Babe you are the best little witch I know. I know that you will make sure that we are protected from Zane” “I hope so, he is old and powerful. I don’t want to risk another witch managing to get in Chads head and hurt Jill again”

Like the book knew me. I pushed that thought aside and turned the first few pages. Most of the entries were familiar types of magic—herbal mixtures, minor warding spells, protection charms, and potion recipes. The kind of practical witchcraft that most mages learned during their years at Rosewood. But I wasn’t looking for those. I flipped slowly through the pages, searching for anything that felt even remotely familiar. Anything that might explain the wings. Or the blood. It took several minutes before I found something.

"Why do I feel... so... heavy?" I whisper looking over at Candi, hoping she can give me the answer. "This is where she practices her magic. It came at a high cost," she whispers back. "The whole area is imbued with her magic. And in case you haven't figured it out yet, she's all about dark magic." I'm going to agree with her assessment. The whole place felt dark and twisted.

Eleanor’s POV My heart skipped a beat as I spotted a book bound in black leather. Gold letters on the cover proudly declared its title: "Mastery of Magic." A shiver ran down my spine as I opened it, scanning its pages for any guidance on the powers that had both blessed and troubled me. There, written in simple and clear words, was a guide on how to control the very magic that now felt like a wild force within me. A surge of hope filled my heart. This book might be the key to mastering my gifts, to unlocking the secrets of my magic and understanding my past.

They all went home. Alex, when he got home, picked up the book he bought from the store, 'dark practices of magic'. As he opened the book and starts reading it, he begins to learn a lot from magic stances up to spells. For the stances, Alex loves it and even practiced some of it but for the spells, Alex find difficult to use. Each time he tries to cast a spell, he feels an opposite movement of power and the spell won't work. Alex told himself maybe spells casting is not his thing and keeps practicing. As Almond has told him, he has to be more powerful to take control as an alpha in this realm.

Might as well read through what Marcus brought her and try to distract herself. As she sorted through the books and made a list of what she wanted to read first, she found a small leather book with no title or decoration. She opened it, and discovered the pages were handwritten. There was no title, no author listed. The handwriting was very neat, but it was a calligraphy style she wasn't entirely familiar with. She was able to read the first few words, but it took some time to decipher. The opening lines read, "What follows is a close examination of the properties of Blood Magic and how to perform such works. This instruction is most important for the Children of Lilith, and it can only be u

The cost was high, but the result was undeniable. My breath caught. I read further, my heart pounding. ‘The council has forbidden any further use of this magic. They say it’s too dangerous, that the price is too steep. But I’ve seen what it can do. The knowledge shouldn’t be lost, even if we choose not to use it.’ The entry included references to another text, something called ‘The Grimoire of Restoration.’ Descriptions of the magic itself, the rituals required, and most importantly… the name of a sorcerer who still practiced the old ways.

Following the light of her hand, soothing flow of vermillion strings emerged from her cut like crimson threads making its way through a deep gash of skin while following the needle. The strings of blood slowly turned into a little orb of ruby, and when Mayari is certain that the poisoned blood has been excerpt from her body, she then stopped the flow of her magic. Her hand's glow slowly fade away like a fire loosing its life and recoiled to a blackish coal, but will soon be ignited when it is needed. Without her magic the red orb lost its float and dropped to the rosy lake with a splash extending the area of blood in the innocent clear snow, preading like a blooming rose above the white wint
