Practical Magic Novel Novels & Stories

All manner of weird items such as wands, amulets, funny little dolls, jars of unidentifiable items and even skulls of very weird animals which Tara couldn't tell if they were real or not. The whole place was freaking her out and rain or not she decided to leave. But as she passed the last shelf before the door a book caught her eye. It big gold letters on the plain black leather cover was the title 'Sex Rituals in Black Magick'. She giggled quietly maybe it was just a strange porn shop after all. Still her curiosity had been awakened so she picked the book up.

Everyone's eyes widened. "Are you sure about this?" I asked. "Yeah, he visited me." Okay, so this is the short intro to what y'all should be expecting in the second part of MAGICAL. You won't be disappointed. Continue to support the book. I love y'all 🤗💖. I'm sorry I had to make a separate author's note for this one. Chapter 31 is coming up shortly. Thanks💖💖 NB: Please note that the rest of the chapters aren't really available cause I'm still working on them. Nevertheless, I'll try to continue with the daily updates.

The book opened on its own and pages quickly flipped until the desired page was found. Then she passed it over to me. The book was very old, ancient even, but was protected from deterioration by magic. It was not written in English, but I was still able to understand it somehow. I would question that part later on. ‘Energy Cage for Gods and DemiGods’ was the title of it.

Towards the back, I found more crystals and among them was the high-rank mana accumulator I was looking for. On my way to buy it, I noticed they had a small section of different books for sale. As I looked at what was for sale, I saw they were all to do with magic. Apart from one of them, one was a book on parenting, 'Babies first fire, a new parents guide for newborns. Is this a magic shop or a baby store? I'm glad Larry can't see what book I'm looking at; I just know he would tease me again if he knew...'

I ordered as I backed up and looked at him. He had to do it perfect. Within seconds he had the magic coming out of the book. I watched as Black-ish blue light flowed into his hand. I had never seen dark magic used from this book so I had to remind myself I needed to concentrate and keep us connected. I just had to pray that our soul bond didn't mend itself because of this.

The earlier I start, the closer I’ll get to leaving this place. I struggle to stand, my legs stiff from hours of sitting in one spot. “Ah,” I cry out softly, finding the light switch and turning it on. Damn. My eyes widen in disbelief. This place looks like an ancient library. The room is small, it belongs to a child, but the aesthetics tell me that the child studied endlessly. My fingers trail across the shelves, flipping through books one after another. These are limited editions, the rare copies. Then my eyes fall on a purple-colored book, and my mouth falls open. “My God!” I exclaim, lifting it carefully. “The Book of Magic.”

Starting from what we are and down to the moment why we ended up here. After that, I didn’t try to take a look at it again, my interest faded when I learned the truth, but not until this morning. After I found it last night inside the same old chest years ago, I decided to open it this morning thinking that Mother would wake up anytime last night while I was scanning her book. “Book of Magic: Your Answers to Everything. 1876.” I uttered as I read the cover. It was fragile and filled with dust and dirt. I did a quick scan and found that some of the pages were crumpled and torn.

He moved with purpose, like he knew exactly where everything was without having to look. Six books landed on the table in front of me with a series of heavy thuds. "Advanced Elemental Manipulation," Cornelius announced, tapping the first book with one claw. "Theoretical Applications of Raw Magic. The Spellweaver's Handbook. Ancient Casting Techniques. Magical Theory and Practice. And Bloodlines and Power." "That's a lot." "You asked for the strongest." He flew to the front of the room, toward the platform where that strange spiral book spun endlessly. The one with no front or back page. No clear beginning or end.

It was hand written. She went on, flipping the book and stopping to read through some parts of it. It was a book about spells and she found herself laughing at the silliness of the thought that magic was still in existence. Some of the spells in the book made Matilda to shake her head and conclude that the book had been written during the time that witches existed. Some of the recipes in the book had ingredients like a two day old crow's blood, the crushed bark of a cider tree, four leaved clovers, mint leaves that had bloomed in the summer and many other bizarre ingredients.

On the first page you can see some hand notes that said: “This book cannot be used by ignorant, nor by those who do not master the use of magic. It contains inscriptions translated from the language of those who were the founders of magic ... and maybe I misunderstood some lines... its use may cause big mistakes ... or even death." Johnny eventually managed to read these lines, but none of them seemed to be marked by what was written on the front page. So the boy closed the book and handed it to the girl. Elizabeth, unaware of the purpose of this book, took it along with the others she had under her arm.
