Prank calls were not something she frequently got but connected with the mafia, nothing is ever a prang. “If you have nothing to say I will hang up” she threatened but no words came yet again. She was tired and did as promised. She walked back to the balcony taking the phone with her this time around. Days have passed since she was last touched.

I was convinced it was a tech-savvy voice-phishing scammer who was manipulating my voice. For all these years, my life was simple and happy. I had a daily routine.
