“Who let you in here?” The woman shot a glance at one of the men, who grabbed my wrist, stopping me from calling. Then, he kicked me hard into the corner. Maybe it was just my imagination, but it felt like they used ten times more force on me than on Zack. “It looks like I, Mandy Grenson, came a bit early today. As the designer, I had to stay beside them to explain my idea. The exhibition ended an hour later. Just as I was leaving, Sophia spoke. "Andy, could I please have some coffee with your employee?" "She thought she was a murderer," the dark haired boy said as he collapsed on the bed still laughing.

I chuckle to myself when Leo shifts and looks down at me, raising a questioning eyebrow. “What’s so funny?” I bite my lip and shake my head when I hear growls coming from the other three. “Spill, what did you do?” he asks again and I shake my head, knowing it wasn’t me and if I tell him, then I will be in for retribution from them, because they still have got me back for it. In my defence I did try to fix it well some of it at least. “Oh, I’ll tell you what she didn’t do. Someone got cranky and let a certain little redheaded devil child pull the ultimate prank. Involving, shampoo, hair dye, also shower gel and deep heat rub.” I try to keep a straight face but fail miserably.

I had to act very convincingly. "What the hell are you talking about? What is familiar?" I replied. Then she chuckled. "Oh, baby, it rings a bell now. I remember-it's from a movie I watched. I haven’t even made my money back yet!” Maisie sobbed and begged, swearing that she was truly unwell, but Alex didn’t care. “Stop faking it! If you fake another episode, I’ll throw you out of this family right now!” Maisie almost fainted from anger. With no other way out, she turned the blame on me. “Clara, it’s all your fault! What did you do to me?” I froze mid-movement, then let out all the frustration boiling inside me. “Maisie, what nonsense are you spewing? With everyone watching, what could I possibly do to you?”

The ONE time that I had finally found someone and we clicked, everything falling into place, they ended up being a psychopath! “You’re joking, right?” I asked him, chuckling as I hooked some of my hair behind my ears. “This has to be a joke, it has to be!” I waited for a response, but he just stared at me. “It has to be, right? Tell me you’re joking. All of this, including the shooting of the man, it’s all a prank, yeah?”

POV: Xander I thought I wasn’t hearing him right, like, how did we go from having information about the rogues to setting me up with a woman. And not just any woman, it had to be, Vinnie the doodle-head.
