Lovely Little Liar

Lovely Little Liar

the old man answered and the next few minutes, he set up an IV infusion, and only when I watched the liquid drop into Noah's body did I finally take a deep breath. “Are you in pain?” I asked as I brushed his hair and he shook his head, eyelids heavy. It didn't take minutes before Noah fell into a deep sleep and the next minute, the doctor left. “You cherish him.” Only when the voice reached my ears did I remember the situation I was in. I raised my head and my eyes met Nikolai's as he stood across the door. He glanced at his watch, “Fifteen minutes,” he whispered and strode toward me. “Fifteen minutes and you only just took in a deep breath after he fell asleep. He matters to you.”

Be Back, My Human Mate

Be Back, My Human Mate

She smiled awkwardly and shook her head. "Mommy is fine, don't worry. Are you going to read a book before bed? Do you want Mommy to read it?" Audrey offered. The twins cheered and gave the book they had chosen to Audrey then climbed into bed. Audrey positioned herself between the two children and started reading fairy tales from the story book. In less than ten minutes, Thiery was snoring softly and was soon followed by Tristan. Audrey smiled and closed the book. She straightened the twins' blankets, then kissed both of their foreheads for a long time, before leaving the room.

Deep Sleep

Deep Sleep

My mood changed drastically and Sebastian noticed this. He asked what was wrong with me and I didn't know if it was a good idea to tell him what was happening to me. -It's hard to explain. -You didn't sleep very well, did you? -Is it that noticeable? -Why can't you sleep, is something bothering you? -No, it's just that I can't get to sleep. -But I can tell you're tired, tell me what's wrong. -It's hard to explain. -I know I shouldn't interfere but it's wrong that you don't sleep, you're affecting your health.

The Alpha Queen's return

The Alpha Queen's return

Her voice not as clear as before instead it was like a whisper. Dawn spoke, “What is it?” Amber took out her phone and said, “Aaron was mumbling something in his sleep and It was something in some other language I recorded it and bought it here.” Ashley and Dawn’s faces became serious as the two got up and Amber gave them her phone with the recording on it. Dawn took the phone in her hand and started to listen to what was in it. While Ashley and Amber watched quietly.

The Princes of Ravenwood

The Princes of Ravenwood

We have read it since Hikari was a baby and too little to care. Darius never gets to finish the book as the kids fall asleep before he’s done. Soon we are each carrying one of our kids to their bed. I got Ryū because, well, he’s the tiniest. They look so sweet as they sleep peacefully in their beds. I love them so much. “It’s almost like you can see the sugarplums floating above their heads.” Forrest sighed, wrapping an arm around me as I stood in the girls’ doorway, watching them sleep.

I liked the story the way it is but kinda wished each guy had their own book with their own person, & not one girl for the three of them. I liked the guys personalities & their interactions with Riko. I would totally read books of the guys each finding their own person. Darius & Forrest are my favs!

Sooo refreshing to read a book about polyamory where the first half or more of the relationship(s) is NOT about partners treating each other like trash. Loved how the 4 leads actually respect, love, and support each other. Kudos to the writer for writing such loving relationships!

Sacrificed to the Dragon Prince

Sacrificed to the Dragon Prince

I look over to where Primus had been sitting not so long ago. What's this? Primus left something behind. A book? Was this the gift he meant to give me? It is a small thing, dainty. I cannot imagine someone as large as Primus ever reading this because how could he ever hold onto it without breaking it? It looks so precious, and fragile. Even as a child, I can't imagine he would have been small or careful enough to read it. Gently, as if lifting a rose from a vase, I pick up the blush pink volume, marveling at the delightful texture of its silk binding, the title embroidered in gold. While I might not know many words yet, I know enough that I can read the title of this book.

The writing is clunky at times, but the story and the characters are mesmerizing. This was my first dragon romance, and it was incredible. So glad the sequel has already started because the ending is criminal. I want to see all my favorites find their happiness.

THE FORTRESS

THE FORTRESS

Hearing several sounds all at once didn't seem much like a fun or cool ability to him. After several hours of reminiscing about the day and realizing he wasn't going to sleep any time soon, Jared got up from the bed to take note of his room. There was a table adjacent to his bed with books neatly arranged on it and an old bookshelf which housed several books by the right side of the large bed, close to the window. A wardrobe was placed at the left corner of the room. Jared walked over to the bookshelf to discover any book that could be of interest to him. After scanning the books on the shelf for several minutes, he gave up realizing none of the books seemed to interest him. As he was about

Dirty Seduction

Dirty Seduction

I wondered if she’d already given Trisha the lowdown on what a knight in shining armor the man upstairs had been. What a shame I’d learned to be the eldest out of the two of us. The laundry and housekeeping around Mum’s issues had taken more of my time than kid’s show coloring pens, or the billions of stories I’d wanted to be reading. Thank God for audiobooks. Small mercies, plus at least they kept Scottie’s voice out of earshot. Usually. Shame I didn’t have my book on loud enough this morning. I was almost at the college gates when I heard an ‘Oi, Rosie’ over the narrator. I could have cursed when I spun around and saw Jayden, Scottie’s son, right up behind me.
