The Ultimate Husband

The Ultimate Husband

He was silent for a while before starting to slowly swirl his head from side to side and reciting. “Drinking deep into Autumn's night. “Feeling like puking the next day’s light. “Though I was annoyed and bored. “I lamented.” The minute he finished, he anxiously asked Penny, “Gorgeous Penny, my poem is pretty meaningful right? Do you think I have hopes of becoming the champion?” At his words, Jewel could not help but spit the candy in her mouth out before smiling and said, “Haha! Mister, this man’s poem is interesting. He just did doggerel! Haha!”

The Beta's Daughter

The Beta's Daughter

“Let’s see it.” I turned the paper over, and revealed the poem scrawled in pencil on the back. Down the streets of woodland black I wander, earth to hearse In every tree I see a wave A looming tidal curse On the cusp of something greater Stood ankle-deep in floodwater Stagnant pools of brown and red The onslaught is coming; I dread For each dark night and each pearl day The mist does clear too soon The floodplain is drown’d again The water, torn from its ocean womb

Arranged Marriage

Arranged Marriage

Vincent's poem thus; When I too long have looked upon your face, Wherein for me a brightness unobscured Save by the mists of brightness has its place, And terrible beauty not to be endured, I turn away reluctant from your light, And stand irresolute, a mind undone, A silly, dazzled thing deprived of sight From having looked too long upon the sun. Then is my daily life a narrow room In which a little while, uncertainly, Surrounded by impenetrable gloom, Among familiar things grown strange to me Making my way, I pause, and feel, and hark, Till I become accustomed to the dark. I could no longer fight this battle with myself and Jeffrey.

Alpha Ozymandius

Alpha Ozymandius

I met a traveller from an antique land, Who said-"Two vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand in the desert. . . . Near them, on the sand, Half sunk a shattered visage lies, whose frown, And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command, Tell that its sculptor well those passions read Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things, The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed; And on the pedestal, these words appear: My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings; Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair! Nothing beside remains. Round the decay Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare The lone and level sands stretch far away." P.B Shelley

Sweet poison

Sweet poison

After which they left. Now ***** “Spyashchaya krasavitsa,” one of my uncle's men said, as his fingers brushes over my cheek. While the others giggled at his teasing. (Sleeping beauty) As he was about to take his hand off, I grabbed it and squeezed it so tight till he started groaning. “lay your filthy hands on me one more time, and have your fingers completely detached from your hands, Kiska,” I said, staring at him in his eyes as I watch him groan louder from pain. RESCUED HEART

RESCUED HEART

“With the little meal, his strength returned to an extent and happiness naturally welled up within him. As he enjoyed the cool evening breeze, his favorite song came into his mind and he began to sing, his voice strikingly attractive, his tone absolutely bass, 'Beauty is the world, Grand wonderful, The sky, the trees, The meadow, the sun; They are all beautiful, Wonderful ,remarkable. Oh, oh, oh, oh… Ah, ah, wonderful, remarkable. Look at the sea, What do you see? Beauty, beauty, Grandeur, grandeur, The fishes, the hippos, The dolphins, the crocs; They're all beautiful, Wonderful, remarkable, Oh, oh, oh, oh… Ah, ah, wonderful, remarkable. I look at the moon, What do I see? Kings and queens,

A Disappointing Success

A Disappointing Success

And he has disguised it as the ultimate rebellion. The irony is so profound it steals my breath. I think of my mother’s words: *A penniless poet? A boy who can offer you nothing?* And here he is, the penniless poet, offering me a kingdom. But that’s not why I’m here. I didn’t fall for a bank balance, disguised or otherwise. I fell for the man in the clay-spattered jeans who believes in beauty. The man who chose uncertainty over a gilded cage. Just like I did.

Please give me two more months to be your wife.

Although he has never liked to memorize anything, but with classic verses like this, every day he hears people reading it to his ears. "Fairy feminine, good-hearted gentleman." (Uuuuuuuuuuuuu like this, worthy of a gentleman's match.) "He pisses off the general drill shop with no regrets." (Loose belt fastened without regret) "We have spent a lot of money on people who are emaciated." (The relationship withers, the whole body is thin) "In heaven willing to make billions of birds." (Please pray that the birds of the sky have wings) Emma suddenly felt something was wrong…

The Demon's Chosen Bride

The Demon's Chosen Bride

A curious little thing it was Stretching a poem The Little Bird landed modestly on it " puny creature" Within his will, a bust of blue flames engulfed his palms turning the bird into a mould of ashes within seconds His eyes once more focused on the green forest, the animals roaming around it, all this disgusted him ' everything would look much better burning' It will be until everything was nothing more than Ashes and even those will Fly With the Wind Just wait until he becomes king. He would make the whole world burn and nothing will remain of it * * *
