Pride And Prejudice Book Age Rating Novels & Stories

She slapped my arm. Laughing, I dodged her attacks and scooted closer to the bus window. “Enlighten me about this great Pride and Prejudice favorite of yours then.” “Don’t you underestimate my preference. It’s a Jane Austen Classic.” She boasted proudly. “Yeah? And then?” She sighed while my grin grew wider. I found it amusing that she’s getting all so fed up by defending her favorite novel. The more I looked unconvinced, she grew more frustrated.

"Continue then." I held up my brief notes before facing my classmates. My eyes of course skipping the one in front of me. "Jane Austen's most infamous novel, 'Pride and Prejudice' was first published in 1813. The novel was well received by the citizens of Austen's age as it has all the fine details of writing. There is suspense, drama, unrequited love, pride and prejudices. The title of the novel perfectly depicts the story. The novel as everyone knows, is on the life of Elizabeth Bennett and her family. She was courted both by Mr Collins and Mr Darcy who she initially turned down. She turned down Mr Collins due to the fact that she felt nothing for him. Mr Darcy was turned down because of

They were an order dressed politely, and yet they grated against my pride like sand on stone. “Breakfast?” I echoed, my voice dripping with scorn. “Do you mortals believe I must sit at a table and break bread with your so-called master? Do you think I am some pet to be paraded beside him, like a trophy?” The maid did not so much as flinch. She tilted her chin slightly, her composure unshaken. With a flick of her fingers, she gestured to the two younger maids standing behind her. “Then let us at least get you ready,” she said coolly. “You reek of sweat and dirt. Master Caelum will not have you at his table in this state.”

I paused to take a deep breath before entering the room, I truly hoped no one would be there because I didn't want to have to answer any questions. I pushed the doors open and entered. It was quiet and a bit dark, save for the small shadow of sunlight that peeped though the small window. It was extremely cold in here and I loved it. I sniffed the last bits of my tears away and proceeded to look for a book to read from the shelves. I hadn't gotten far when I saw the pride and prejudice book. I smiled, picking it up from where it rested on the shelf. I had read this book more than 5 times but I would never get tired of reading it all over again. I opened the first page with a grin.

Conner's POV Since Avery nearly died, I have seen her in a different light. Her body might be frail, but her spirit was far from that. She keeps pushing forward no matter what has been done to her. She more than deserves the surprise in her locker that my brothers and I arranged. As I think back to how I have mistreated her, I recall a quote from Pride and Prejudice, “I was given good principles, but left to follow them in pride and conceit,” Mr. Darcy said in that book. I am just as guilty as he is, and so are my brothers. We let our titles and pride keep us from knowing the real Avery. We judged her by her appearance, not her character. Maybe it is too late for a truly fresh start, because

The only one I find that slightly fit the description is my favourite book of all time, Pride and Prejudice. I smile despite myself. Of course Massimo owns a copy. A thick leather-bound edition too that has probably never been touched. I tug it free from the shelf and carry it to the armchair in the corner, curling my legs beneath me, my sweater sliding off one shoulder. It’s too quiet in here. Almost as if I'm the only one in this big, grand house. The silence stretches long enough to suffocate me and my thoughts, and is only broken from time to time by the distant tick of the grandfather clock in the hallway.
