I march downstairs and into the living room where Enrique is sitting with Marco while my dad’s in his study and my moms probably smoking a cigarette somewhere. “Fine I’ll work for you. However you’re not gonna make me do stupid chores like get lunch, coffee or do your laundry.” He looks at me confused. “ Princess I would never make you do those things. I’ll treat you like the perfect princess you are. No stupid chores.” “Really?” I ask completely taken aback. “ Of course my princess deserves nothing but the best.” He walks closer to be and I back up until he has me pinned against the wall. I look over to Marco for help but he’s too busy on his phone to care about anything.

I was surprised that my voice did not even waver. The weird woman though just looked me from head to toe before she smiled, “So you are the famous ruthless princess. It is really a pleasure to meet you miss, but if I may ask you what you are doing in these parts of the forest all by yourself?” So far it did not look as if she was about to hurt me, but still I had to be careful. After all I would bet anything, she was a witch, and it would not be the first time that a witch was playing tricks. So, I decided to trade everything carefully, “Why do you care? Unpinning her hair they let her long black straight hair fall over her back. "You have no need to do this,"Mrs Wen cries looking at her in sympathy trying to stop her decision. "Cut,"Xing commands her voice low, taking the pair of scissors they cut her hair short,too short. "I'm doing this for Wan ke,"she smiles at her mom looking at the reflection "I will avenge for him," she removes the top material of her dress letting it slide down her soft shoulders. "He won't agree for it too," her mom cries holding her shoulder she turns Xing to face her.

"Elmsworth, I trust you see the gravity of this situation. We will pursue legal action against the market for this defamation of Princess Isla's character." Master Elmsworth cleared his throat. "With all due respect, Your Majesty, the footage… corroborates the market vendor's account. It clearly shows Princess Isla placing those iron spoons into her satchel." A stunned silence hung in the chamber after Master Elmsworth's pronouncement about the security footage. Queen Isolde was the first to break it, her regal composure cracking slightly.

"No! No!" Laughing, he stepped back and dropped my skirt. Tying his pants and doing his buckle, as he turned to go. Waving over his shoulder as he called. "Enjoy your chains, Princess!" I’m Queen! Well, I was. I supposed at this moment, I no longer was. I wanted him to go. Yet a part of me did not. There was a part that was burning, nearly on fire. And he’d come so close to sating it that there was a deep frustration in me. Like biting bits of metal and feeling them sting all through my jaw.

Placed one chain against the sharp edge of the desk. Then slammed the paperweight down. CLANG! The chain bent slightly. Again. CLANG! Again. CLANG! On the fourth strike... CRACK! One cuff snapped open. Lorenzo immediately tore it off. Then repeated the process on the second wrist. Several more heavy blows later... The final cuff shattered onto the floor. Now his hands were free. Lorenzo flexed his fingers slowly. Blood flowed back into them. A dangerous smile appeared on his face. "Much better."

She was dragged down with me. I counted, and she stayed down, loosening my grip as I got closer to ten. The overconfidence cost me. I felt a sharp sting. She had pulled out a knife, and she was now spitting mad. Her breaths were dramatic heaves. I looked down where she had sliced me on my wrists and noticed blood pooling there. "We weren't using weapons!" I screeched through the sharp pain of it. "Nothing was forbidden, princess." She shrugged with a smirk.

I tried to make a sound but my throat dried up. There on the floor was my baby sister, the very one I've grown up with. The one who always dreamed of running in a field full of flowers, always wearing sundresses and whenever I had a little time with her, she was always a princess and made me play the knight that saved her. Can I save her now? with her wrists cut open. Blood pooled around her. The princess was drowning in her blood and all I could do was stare.

The wood swung open to reveal the prince, a glare set across his handsome features. “Took you long enough faerie.” He snapped at me, and his eyes travelled down my body, stopping at my bandaged wrist. Anger flashed across his face, the intensity in his eyes making me squirm as he looked back up at me. “Who did that?” He snapped, and took a step towards me. I took a step back, and pulled my wrist up to my chest, hugging it to my body. “Not that it’s any of your business, but I did. I slipped while getting my dress off.” I lied, and I could tell by his face that he didn’t buy a word of it. He growled under his breath, but didn’t push for a further explanation.
