she said as a purple orb of light appeared on her hand. “Are you sure that you want to fight me with you carrying a child?” Nicht asked Vira as he glanced at Vira’s now slightly bulging belly. Vira gnashed her teeth in anger. “Sister.” Lovis called. “It was the princess… she was really guilty.” He spoke. “VIS!” Vira glared at her younger brother. “Ignorance can’t excuse us, sister, especially me who now knows it.” Lovis spoke as he took a deep breath to calm himself. “And maybe, you already have a guess now, too.” He said and looked at Vira, who froze.

"The way it was broken, Princess... it doesn't look like a normal animal did it. It was too... powerful. And as you know, Princess Isla's room was locked from the inside." Annie pressed her lips together, acting like she was thinking hard with worry. "This is all so deeply scary. I can only hope Isla will come back safe and soon." She waited a moment, then leaned a little closer to the Captain, talking quietly like she was telling a secret. "You know, Captain, some of the servants... they've been talking quietly to each other. About Princess Isla acting strange lately. The stealing... the way she looked at Prince Caius... almost... wild. Did you see anything strange yourself, Captain?" She l

"Let me get this right, did Princess Dohana really fell in love with that idiot?" Terah asked, staring at his cousins. "Cousin, Terah, really now? Do you actually believe that? Isn't it obvious that the Princess found an actor, and paid him to come here and act like her lover," Dorah added scornfully. "For an actor, he's pretty lousy, couldn't even man up and tell us who he is," Sirah said giggling.

She was interested in revenge. She slowly moved down the stairs, still lost in thought. The crowd cleared the middle of the ballroom, and the band began to play their instruments. She grabbed the mans slimy hands and held back her expression. She felt like she was holding a slug, which made her want to throw up all over him. But, as a princess, she had to play her part, which is precisely what she did as she danced with him until the end of the song. The man finished the dance by kissing her hand softly before stepping away and smiling at the King.

During the summer festival everyone came out to the palace to enjoy the hot summer breeze. “Oh, look isn’t the peaches this year good,” said a prince. “I agree,” said the Empress. Princess Kay said, “Empress what did that woman bring to you?” “Humph,” said the Empress. “That woman was trying to bribe me with some of her phoenix clan’s belongings. Thinking that I would take a liking to it.” “Well, what’s in it?”

"Baby, I really don't want to talk about them. I just want you to believe me. You're my mate, so you have nothing to worry about. No one else will come and claim that title." I believed him about that. But what if he found out that I was a princess? And worse, a witch? Would he reject me? "I think I have to go," I said and started walking toward the door, but he stopped me. "Tell me, baby. Tell me you don't feel anything for me right now, and I will let you go. he said quietly, though amusement danced in his eyes and the corners of his lips tugged with a smirk. I stepped closer ignoring his words, my voice dropping to a mischievous whisper. “Don’t aim for the apples, Kael.
