A Traitor's Bloodline

A Traitor's Bloodline

Hazel Irwin There would never be a better time than then, two hours ago, when the guards were sleepy and the other prisoners were busy eating or throwing things at one another. It was always the newest ones who bothered to interact with others. There were some down there who had been locked up since long before me or my mom were ever confined, and those were the ones we knew the least about. I could recite anything about Lucas Fresh’s life if I wished to, from the moment he had memories to the moment he entered the dungeon. And then I could recite his death date and how he was executed.

Prisoner To My Mate

Prisoner To My Mate

Earlier in the pond is evidence of that. There are no windows, so I can't tell if it's morning or night. I don't know how long we’ve been here, but we’ve been given food twice, so I’ll guess two days. I’ve been waiting for what Walden threatened to come. I’m hoping whatever it is, Theo and I can overcome it together. I hear the cell doors opening. The cell is made of silver, preventing us from breaking it down. “It's time,” the man who brings our food says, walking toward me.

Darkness

Darkness

Looks like I'll finally get to see who this person helping us out will be. The process of going through a prison is perhaps the most brutal thing in the world to do. I would seriously rather watch paint dry then deal with the same damn conversations, the same stupid list of what not to do, and the same bald, fat guy with a disgusting smirk checking my body for God knows what.

EX-HUSBAND'S REGRET: "Mommy, please forgive Daddy."

EX-HUSBAND'S REGRET: "Mommy, please forgive Daddy."

She had grown so bold and daring, and it excited him. Jordan didn't realize he was grinning from ear to ear until his cellmate called out to him abruptly. "What's got you all giggling? Thinking about a woman, I see?" His cellmate chimed in, his voice breaking Jordan's reverie. Jordan's smile instantly dissipated, his expression faltering to a neutral gaze as he regained his composure. He cast a glance at his cellmate, who reciprocated his gaze with a puzzled look. He was a man around the same age as Jordan, who had been convicted for a felony he didn't commit as well. He and Jordan had become friends since the day he was transferred to this prison. His name was Antonio.

Save My Baby

Save My Baby

He was new and the other inmates tried to intimidate him. Every time he didn't call home and talk to his parents, no one would answer the call. He even tried to call Dolly and talk to them. Her mother answered the phone and blocked the calls from prison. He was left in this terrible place. He didn't know anyone and didn't want to be friends with them. He was imprisoned with murderers, drug dealers and everything else. I grew up in a trailer park, but I was never exposed to such behavior.

Too Late To Regret, My Hockey Star Ex-Husband

Too Late To Regret, My Hockey Star Ex-Husband

"So Ophelia is offering charity to the cousin who tried to have her killed? That's either incredibly generous or incredibly condescending." "Ms. Sterling, the program is available to all eligible inmates regardless of their relationship to the Sterling family. Your participation would be based on your own commitment to rehabilitation, not family connections." "And what makes you think I want rehabilitation? Maybe I'm perfectly happy being the family disgrace rotting in federal prison." The lawyer studied my file before responding. "Your prison records show that you've been reading extensively and participating in education programs. That suggests you're interested in personal growth rather t

Become a Prisoner of The Mafia

Become a Prisoner of The Mafia

Merry tapped Selena on the shoulder, which made Selena shift herself away. Selena seemed to dislike any touch. She also looked nervous and wary. It was as if she had a fear of these strangers hurting her again. Merry raised one eyebrow at Selena's reluctant response. It made her a little annoyed. But she just smiled and let Selena pass. Selena was led the way again to the basement. Where she could find many prisoners who were not as lucky as she was. They looked wounded, they were also moaning and groaning in pain. Mostly men. And she was probably the only woman.

My Love, My Boss

"As often as they let me. Which is probably once a week. Maybe more if I can get access to the prison library for extra writing time." "I'll write back." "You don't have to." "I know. But I will." "And I'll call. They have a phone system. Monitored. Time-limited. But I'll call when I can. If you want me to." "I want you to." We were quiet for a moment. "What if you meet someone?" he asked. "In the next three and a half years. What if someone comes along who's available and present and not serving time for federal crimes. What do I do then?"

Fighting Zephyrus-The Indomitable Alpha (Overpowered Series)

Fighting Zephyrus-The Indomitable Alpha (Overpowered Series)

They tied up the culprits and ushered them out of the office. “Show me the records of the rest of the prisoners.” I had considered doing this when I visited this place for Lena. The prison complex was the only place that hadn’t been renovated in the last twenty years! Maybe Alpha Atticus never visited the place! But I would want the prisoners to do something productive with their lives. I would give them a second chance if their crimes were pardonable!

Alpha's Regret After Her Rebirth

Alpha's Regret After Her Rebirth

“Last year, our book club was a flop—too many kids didn’t want to do their assigned reading, feeling like it was too much like work.” Alanna turned to me then. “Thoughts, Luna Hannah?” Suddenly, my eyes widened slightly, and once again, I was transported back to those two years that Noah had conveniently forgotten—the two years that I had written until my hand cramped, my fingers stained with ink. “What about… a penpal program?” I breathed before I could stop myself. The other Lunas murmured and nodded in agreement, jotting the idea down in their notebooks. They were oblivious to my emotional strife—all except for Alanna, who seemed to eye me for a moment before suddenly closing her notebook

I’m glad that Hannah has a second chance to get father’s pack back and still save her child from Zoe and Noah, This is a good start. I’ve read some of your other books, so im sure this will be another great story to read also.
