King stands reading poems from one of the books to me, and I watch as the sky gets darker.

Across the street is a small second-hand bookshop; the kind with tiny windows and a narrow entrance which only opens on the second Sunday of the month. The door stands open, seeming to lead no-where except dark shelf-stacks that a Victorian explorer would lose himself in. And through the entrance, just visible, a head of copper-red hair. I find myself smiling. Tossing the dregs of the soup into a bin, I follow my feet across the road and into the store.

The healer had warned me, but seeing it here in ink, in a book older than I could imagine, made the prophecy feel real in a way that shook me to my core. I closed the book gently, holding it against my chest. After signing it out, I left the library, the words still echoing in my head. On the way home, I stopped at a little store to buy bread and maybe something sweet to distract myself. The bell above the door chimed as I stepped inside. But instead of warmth and calm, chaos filled the air. A man in a black mask stood at the counter, waving a gun at the terrified shopkeeper. “Money! Now!” he barked.

“It's a great thing I am alive to witness this prophecy and at this time a prophet of this temple.” “But?... Prophet how should I be sure that you are not just making this up and pushing responsibilities to my shoulders.” My aunt appears on my side, pulling my ear. He gently walks to me and looking at me with his soft golden eyes he stretches his hand, offering the book. “Here, take.” He doesn't leave, he stays as I open the book. The book weighed more than I imagined, beautifully coated in gold and white its fragrance was more welcoming than its beauty. “How should I open this? It's clearly locked.”

So Proserpina moves on to the next row, then the next one, and the next one, on and on until she was literally kneeling like a child on the floor when she finally comes across a book third to the last on the bottom row in between a skinny book and leather bound one; the book was silver-gray, small and light in her hands and the cover seemed to have some sort of glossy material in it as it twinkled when she turned it here and there… ‘Kind of a child’s storybook,’ she noted. Hey Loveliess!!! I'm so excited, we're back for a second book!. For those of you just finding this book, it's alright, you can read it as a standalone. For the returning readers, I have something special for you. A prologue is set before the beginning of this book. I would have posted it as a regular chapter, buttt, some beta readers did mention they found it confusing. So, I'll just drop it here for those of you who understand!
