Shit Witch, I don’t care that she has a real name to me she will always be Shit Witch, dumped me here without anything. Though if this is my mind, why can’t I manifest things? I mean, all things are possible if you believe. And I’m in my mind, the Shit Witch is just imposing her magic on it to keep me here. So by all rights, I can make things change to suit my wants, needs, and desires.

I bit my bottom lip, hoping she didn’t hear that, but I guess she did because her cheeks turned bright red. “What should I call you?” She asked in a low voice as a purple mist surrounded her. But she realized what was happening, and she snapped them away. I heard from Patrea that purple mist appeared whenever a powerful witch was too sad or too happy. I was banking on the latter, as I didn’t see any reason why she should be sad at the moment. “Anything you are comfortable with.” “Like, old man, grumpy pants, scowling devil…” She said seriously before a mischievous smile formed on her lips.

He looked confused and I called Chelsea. “Please show him the past, what he had done to Rosaline” Chelsea was a witch. And they have power to see through the person's mind and see their past. She held his hand and closed her eyes. She took her time then stepped away from him then started to chant some spells then some fogg started to appear in front of me. Where a scene was playing on it.

Neither do I. “But some matters,” the witch continues, “require more than claws and brute force. There are things only a witch can contain before they grow beyond control.” “And you are suddenly so interested in helping her because you have a hidden charity house in your heart? I find that hard to believe.” “I am not a righteous person. However, you must let me see her. I can shift into anything or anyone I like.” She turns to animals, humans and then stops in the form of my mother laying on the floor unconscious. “Unless…” I didn’t want to hear it. I didn’t want to know. She spoke anyway. “You sleep with five men,” she said, licking her lips. “Not to please me, but to please the demons. The energy passed between flesh can power the final charm. I will summon the healing then. I swear it.” I recoiled. “You’re insane.” “I’m a witch,” she said simply. “This is my realm, Lisa. You came to me.” “No,” I whispered, shaking my head. “You tricked me.”

I turned to see a middle-aged woman who I had no memory of smiling at me. I was scared and pissed because she just read out my mind and it was so creepy. “Who are you? What are you doing here?” I snapped at her staggering backwards. “Oh sorry if I startled you, I’m a witch.” She said with a smile. “I don’t care, why did you sneak up on me like that? And what’s the meaning of everything you were saying right now?” “Oh? Wasn’t that what you were thinking about? I can read minds.” “Don’t read mine, what do you want from me? Why are you here? Have they sent you here to kill me?”

Ilyra explained, her voice gentle but firm as she held the old woman’s hand. "The Nexus? The way she had no scent to everyone yet smelled like Herbs and Lavender to me. The way the wards had blinked. The way Morwenna couldn't read her mind. She was a witch. A Salem witch. The last of them. But I didn't know the family she was from. And I didn't care. I would burn the world before I let anyone hurt her. "Cressida." She didn't respond. Her eyes were still distant, still swirling with that pale blue light. The wings flexed, spreading wider, casting jagged shadows across the frozen floor. If I stepped to close I could be hurt.

He hadn't expected her to speak to him with such assertiveness. He was used to people being intimidated by him and following his orders without question.
