I sassed. "Wow, you are surely a social piranha,” Lex commented as he straightened back his collar and smirked at me. I felt like clawing his pretty face to remove that shit eating grin of his, ughh. "And you are PSYCHOTIC ,” I rebuked back. Back came his smirk at full wattage, ughh. "Use spell check if you try to write that word in your essay !". he teased.

If he wanted to play dirty I was going to show him that I could too. He rolled his bottom lip between his teeth sinking his teeth into it. A smug, cynical smirk spread across his mangled up face. I cocked my head up at him, "Your face looks better than it did before. You should thank my hero!" I sarcastically beamed mustering one helluva fake smile.

The low hum of distant dripping water echoed faintly against the cold stone walls, punctuating the oppressive silence. Kaiser’s eyes, usually a calm storm of control, now burned with a slow, simmering fury. They narrowed into sharp slits as the corners of his mouth curled upward, an infamous smile, thin and bone-deep, that sent an involuntary shudder rippling through the few souls who dared witness it. This was no ordinary smile; it was a predator’s grin, cold and merciless, a smile that had ended empires and shattered lives. It was the kind of smile that made even the bravest men falter, the kind that spoke of dark promises made in shadows.

My stomach tightens and I gulp as I memorize the file again. This is the man that sits across from me with his lazy posture and half-amused, half-predatory expression and eyes. He looks so calm and completely different than what this file reads or says about it . He was intrigued. “That was—” “Real,” he cut through her protest. “People don’t kiss like that unless they mean it.” “I kissed you to make you shut up.” A smirk stretched his lips, but it wasn’t the kind of smirk that lasted more than two seconds. Although it was razor-thin, carved straight across his face like it was born from some kind of darkness. He smirked knowing he's not threatened in the least and not bored. “Then make me shut up again,” his voice turned smoky. “I won’t stop you.”

All they’ll see is a pattern. Our eyes meet as I pass. She smiles. Not a polite smile. Not nervous. An evil, satisfied little smirk that curls one corner of her mouth and stays there. They pull me forward before I even have a chance to react and the door closes behind me. I don’t look back, but I know exactly what that smirk means. She talked. And whatever she said just buried me a whole lot deeper.

When he saw me, he Smirked like i have said or done something stupid. Fear crawled on my skin when I saw that cunning smirk. Am i overthinking or he has something in his evil mind?

I could see the edges of his mouth—the cruel, hard line that usually dictated life and death—soften. It curved upward, slowly, into a genuine, soft smile. It wasn't a smirk of triumph or a cold grin of malice. It was… sweet. The most feared man in the country was smiling because I’d scolded him.

I was tired of both loving and hating that sound. "Your voice...I really hate it," I mumbled and opened my eyes, turning to look at him, wanting to see his reaction and I saw that he had this unexplainable look on his face. Something between a smirk and a frown, which was freaky as hell because I don't know how that's even possible. But then again, the man can turn into an animal and back. He tilted his head, the smirk on his face becoming more defined and I watched as the wind blew threw his hair and it flew backwards, away from his face, "I find that hard to believe."

Its just a crush, so it will slide. I looked up to him and he smirked. His smirk was dangerously beautiful, alluring and oh my very tempting. I couldn’t help but check out his face, especially the smirk he was giving me. “So you didn’t want to wake up, eh. Come on now, wake up and let’s go.
