FROM SCUMBAG EX TO SCUMBAG HUSBAND

FROM SCUMBAG EX TO SCUMBAG HUSBAND

To hide from their lives. To disappear. I pulled up the address Marcus had sent. The diner was called "Mountain View Café." Main Street. Right in the center of town. I found it easily. A small building with red shutters and a hand-painted sign. Parking was in front. I pulled into a spot and turned off the engine. Then I sat there, frozen. This was it. The moment of truth. If I walked in there and Elara wasn't inside, I'd be destroyed. Again. Another false hope. Another dead end.

CRAVING THE WRONG BLACKTHORNE BROTHER

CRAVING THE WRONG BLACKTHORNE BROTHER

“It’s books, not diamonds. Let me do this.” The clerk bagged everything in brown paper that crinkled pleasantly. We walked back to the car with our arms full and the sun warm on my face. “Thank you,” I said as he loaded the bags in the trunk. “We’re not done yet.” “Where else—” “Lunch. I know a place.” The place turned out to be a diner that looked like it hadn’t been updated since the seventies. Cracked vinyl booths, checkered floors worn thin in the walking paths, and laminated menus sticky with age.

Running

Running

she asked and we nodded. "Yes, our friends should be arriving in a couple hours" I explained and she nodded as she handed each of us a room key. "Okay. Let me know if you need anything" she said and Devon stopped her. "Is there a good diner around here that we could walk to?" he asked and she nodded. "Yep. Pearl's is about a block that way. It's open 24 hours too" she said and we thanked her. We walked outside and Devon turned to me.

I am super excited to read more. I wanna learn about the special powers Willow has and find out whom she chooses in the long run. There's definitely a love/hate relationship between her and Dean. I feel bad for him but at the same time, I really like Lee. Hurry up with the new chapters already!!

This was a fantastic story! Well written, flowed well, and loved the different POVs. Definitely had some twists and turns throughout with a few sad moments, but also had some beautiful, loving moments as well. Also happy with the epilogue & how it tied everything together. Nicely done author! 😊

The Secret Billionaire I Married

The Secret Billionaire I Married

Victoria closed the bookstore at five. She locked the door, flipped the sign to "Closed," and stood on the sidewalk looking lost. The sun had broken through the clouds. The rain was gone. But she still looked wet. Cold. Untethered. "There is a diner around the corner," she said. "Good pie." "Lead the way," Liam said. The diner was called Lou's. Red booths. Sticky tables. A jukebox that played songs from before any of us were born. We slid into a booth near the window. Victoria sat across from me. Anna next to her. Liam next to me.

Paint me a heart

Paint me a heart

He answered and won another punch on his shoulder. __________________________________ Ten minutes later, we were parked in front of a small diner called The bomb. I ignored the strange name because I was busy looking at everything else. It was far from the center of the town. Around it, I could see only big trees, proudly sharing their shade with freshly-cut grass lawns. No other buildings were in sight, making the place look wild and cozy. It had two floors. However, the second one had a glass, instead of walls. Cute white tables were placed up there, as I could see from outside. It wasn't new and perfectly painted, but it had its charm.

I believe this book is interesting because: It keeps you on the edge, the story is different, there is a lot of passion in it, there's tons of more reasons to love it! I love the characters and I love how different they all are. It's really awesome, almost like I'm watching some series. Amazing!

This story is very sweet and engaging. I love how author described the Alice's character. Having a love for art myself, I Am already attached to the Alice. Writing style and world background is impressive too. Excellent work, keeps writing.

The Alpha broken mate

The Alpha broken mate

“I know where that is. There’s a diner about two blocks north. Blue awning, can’t miss it. Get there and order coffee. I’ll be there in forty-five minutes.” “Dale—” “Forty-five minutes. Don’t move from that diner. Understand?” “Yeah. Yeah, I understand.” I found the diner. The waitress took one look at me and almost called the police, but I convinced her I’d just been mugged and was waiting for a ride. She brought me coffee and a wet towel for my face. I sat in a corner booth, watching the door, waiting for either salvation or another group of people I’d apparently wronged.

Garvey's: The Return (The Garvey Series 2)

Garvey's: The Return (The Garvey Series 2)

“We can go to that club in Phoenix I told you about three months ago. It was pretty good, smoky, but pretty good.” “I was thinking about something closer to home,” Mindy said with a sly grin as the epiphany popped in her mind. “Okay,” Cindy eased out as she looked at the sparkle in Mindy’s baby blues. “Where?” “Garvey’s” “What!” Cindy shouted. Half the people in the diner turned to look at them. ------- Goldman and Carter moseyed over to the counter and took a seat. Paula, the waitress, approached them with menus in hand. “Hey, boys, what can I get you to drink?” she asked, showing the spaces where three teeth should be.

Claimed by my Biker Stepbrother

Claimed by my Biker Stepbrother

“Yes, ma’am. There’s a diner two miles down the road. Real food. Then we talk about the next move.” The diner was one of those classic roadside places that had red vinyl booths and coffee that could strip paint. We took a table at the corner so that Zander could watch the door and the parking lot. Old habits die hard. I attacked my pancakes like they owed me money while Zander nursed his black coffee and steak and eggs. “Slow down,” he said, amused. “Nobody’s chasing us right this second.” “Says you. My stomach’s been chasing real food for weeks.” I pointed my fork at him. “Speaking of moves, what’s the plan? We can’t ride forever.”

THE BILLIONAIRE'S MARRIAGE DEAL

THE BILLIONAIRE'S MARRIAGE DEAL

He pointed out but if you ask me, what he did this morning is more than his job except his job description is more than driving. I stepped out of the car and made my way inside after looking around and making sure that I am not being followed... I am actually surprised that we are meeting here, this diner is way too small for a guy like Pierce to patronize, considering his financial status but when I entered, I kind of understood why he is here. It's small and very cozy, it's peaceful and I am guessing their food is good as well. The diner is mostly empty, so it wasn't difficult to locate him at the far corner of the diner in a booth that has a nice view of a beautiful garden.

The Assassin's Blood: The Confradia Assassins III

The Assassin's Blood: The Confradia Assassins III

“Coffee?” Seeing that there’s nothing else I can do at the moment, I nod my head, take my keys out of my jacket pocket, and slide inside the car. It doesn’t take us long to make it to Hunter’s diner. The diner is a typical greasy spoon with a hopelessly depressing aura. The outside walls are a worn pink color that was probably last painted in the nineteen-fifties. There are very few cars around the depressingly dark lot and a dim light casting a solemn shadow through the dirty, shabby windows.
