“Where is the package?” My hand went to the small, hidden pocket sewn into my gown’s lining. My fingers closed around the cold, heavy shape. I pulled it out. A single bullet. It gleamed under the moonlight. Not regular metal. Silver. The only thing that could slow a wolf like her down enough for a killing shot. “Just one shot,” I said, placing it in his open palm. “Make it count.” He nodded, slipping the bullet into his own pocket. He turned and vanished back into the shadows, becoming just another guest heading toward the music.

Ken’s energy shifted uneasily as the men continued approaching beneath the tree. “This isn’t the time for your drama,” I warned abruptly. “Don’t leave me with no other option but to…” “Those aren’t ordinary bullets, human,” Ken interrupted darkly. My heartbeat slowed instantly. “They’re forged with silver and infused with dragon blood,” he continued. “Strong enough to kill even the strongest Alpha with a single shot. Look carefully at the tips.” Fuck. He was right. The moment I focused harder, I noticed the strange blue glow coating the bullet tips beneath the fading sun.

The space was small, and once they were inside, there was no room left for me. I moved from cover to cover alone as gunfire swept across the street. Then a stray bullet tore toward me. I shut my eyes, muttering, "This is where it ends." Something slammed into me and threw me sideways. When I opened my eyes, Stefan stood between me and the source of the shot. The bullet had struck his abdomen. Blood soaked through his shirt and ran over his hands. I caught him before he could fall, and I could not stop crying. He lifted a hand and wiped my tears.

Leo explained. I was speechless at first. But I knew where this was headed. "Don't tell me the bullets had this ash rubbed all over it," I muttered. "It didn't," Roman said simply. I let out a sigh. "The bullets themselves were made of silver mixed with Sanguis Ash," He added, hand raking his hair. "So it wasn't coated or dipped in Sanguis Ash. It was it." My hand flew to my mouth, holding back the emotions that threatened to spill out of me.

A single scratch, a drop of their cursed blood, and it’s over. I don’t hesitate, firing a Baobab bullet straight into its heart. It screeches, a sound cut abruptly short as it disintegrates. “Fuck, I love these bullets,” I mutter, reloading. Konstantin chuckles, but it’s cut short as more wolves and vamps emerge. The fight becomes a blur of fur, fangs, and flying stakes. We move as one, a deadly duo born of years fighting, even if it wasn’t side by side.

“I’m a very good shot. But how is a gun going to help me against vampires?” “Silver bullets.” Robert reaches into his coat once again. “I’ve gotten you 20 bullets. I’m arranging for more, but for now, these should hold you. Aim at the forehead or the heart. One clear shot. That’s all you need.” I’ve heard of silver bullets. They’re lethal to both vampires and shifters. The fact that Robert is giving me this gun and these bullets is a testament to how much he trusts me. However, there’s no happiness in my heart at the moment. These bullets are a means to kill, an act I despise, even though I know it’s a necessity.

They had already explained their plans to their parents and that’s why Lucifer and Albert took the risk to run without discussing things. “Do you really think that they will use bombs and explosions?” Nathan asked Maddie while tearing off a vampire whom she shot first, and he killed the next. This was their plan. Ten of them will shoot vampires with the bullets made up of silver filled with wolfsbane, ashes of Ashwood, and white oak, and their fellow wolf would take them down. The bullets served two purposes in one go. They could hit both rogue wolves and vampires with them. The presence of ashes inside the bullets could slow down vampires, giving them a window of a few seconds to kill them.

"What's that... Where did you draw it out from!?" "This is the sacred gun, 'Argentum.' Normally used in opposition to vampires however additionally works on humans. But as opposed to golden bullets, you likely decide upon consuming lead." Seeing Anna flow her finger to the trigger, Raven raised his palms and surrendered, his face long gone light. . . . …..

Bryce asked, however, a frown appeared on Zarius' face. "That is no ordinary silver bullet." Zarius said, suddenly and the others turned to look at him. "Oh, what do you think?" Nate asked, moving closer to the Beta with curious eyes. "During the war against the hunters, we extracted different kinds of silver bullets and studied every single one of them. That bullet has the ability to kill once it enters the skin." Zarius explained, with a frown on his face. The study was silent for a moment and Roman asked, "Then how do you think Ariel got the bullet and the gun?"

I dove behind the nearest medical bed, hauling Angela and Adam with me as bullets tore through the air where we'd been standing. The rounds weren't normal ammunition—they punched through reinforced medical equipment like it was paper, leaving smoking holes that stank of ozone and burned metal. "Silver-core rounds," Ruth called from behind her overturned desk. "Designed to disrupt supernatural healing." Great. Because regular bullets weren't challenging enough. "Stay down," I told Angela, who was still writhing in pain from whatever Adam's abilities were doing to her. "Keep him quiet if you can."
