The Hidden Hybrid’s Redemption

The Hidden Hybrid’s Redemption

The purple sky over the Southern Fault did not bleed; it bruised. A sickening, violaceous canopy spread outward from the horizon, swallowing the pale winter sun in a tide of unnatural, churning twilight. Where the beams of void-aether pierced the cloud cover, the snow on the distant peaks did not melt—it sublimated instantly into thick, violet plumes of steam that rained down as cold, black ash. At the Pine Seam, the silence was shattered by the panicked screams of the draft horses down in the staging camps. The animals reared against their harnesses, eyes rolling back in terror as the air grew heavy with the acrid, metallic stench of ozone and old graves.

Echoes from Below

Echoes from Below

Then, like a thief sneaking back to the scene of the crime, I switched my phone on once more. I could not follow the rule about exposing it to the sunlight for three hours. It was pouring outside. The weather was so gloomy, just like the deep sea in my dreams. I tapped into the Echoes from Below application once more, but there was no sound. The waveform interface was gone and replaced by a basic discussion forum. There were not many posts, but every single title made the hair on the back of my neck stand.

CHAOS

CHAOS

Wide eyes all around watched her with curiosity, fear and wonder. "You're not a prince," she said feeling the cloak fall from her shoulders as she took another step forward. "Your a monster," she announced, just then a loud thunder boomed through the air and the lights went out. The screams of the party goers went silent. A purple light suddenly appeared, emitting from a pendant, that illuminated the face of breathtaking woman. Her eyes were like hot gold burning with fire. Her skin dark and smooth with freckles of silver. Her hair long and flowing, a sentinel being...alive.

Cursed Alpha, Chosen Love

Cursed Alpha, Chosen Love

But the silence was deceptive—it was the kind of quiet that came after destruction, where the echoes of violence still lingered, heavy and unspoken. Their peace didn’t last long. “Kaelan,” Rhea’s voice wavered, her smile faltering as her gaze shifted past him. Her eyes widened, filled with something between fear and disbelief. “What’s that?” Kaelan turned sharply, his instincts still raw from the fight with Zane. His body tensed as he followed her gaze to the horizon. Above the dense, sprawling forest that surrounded the town, the sky had begun to shift unnaturally. Dark clouds churned and twisted, forming a spiral that pulsed with an eerie crimson glow. It wasn’t a storm—it was something fa

Echos of Ruin

Echos of Ruin

And even now, as I stand in the quiet aftermath once again — another husband gone, another chapter ended — I remind myself of one thing: I’ve lost everything before. And I still found a way to rise. And so, before the storm — before heartbreak, loss, and the long road that would shape the rest of my life — there was light. There was laughter echoing down dirt roads, Sunday dinners that stretched late into the night, and the kind of childhood that wrapped around you like a warm blanket. Before the pain, there was peace. Before the scars, there was innocence. This is where my story truly begins.

THE GRAVE OF GREY AND GOLD

THE GRAVE OF GREY AND GOLD

looking helpless as he lost the only thing that made him a god: his land. "You look like you're staring at a funeral," Silas rumbled, standing by the window. His silhouette appeared massive against the grey sky. "I am," I whispered. My voice was a dry rasp, like a dead leaf when crushed. "I'm watching the burial of the Crescent Alpha. I just didn't expect the scene to look so... boring, and ordinary…" My cough broke the silence, a deep, racking tremor that made my ribs feel like they were being snapped back one by one. I pressed a tissue to my mouth that quickly soaked in a dark, thick crimson. I didn't panic; that was for people who still had a future.

ship. Ethan stood up, his legs shaking, his "piercing blue eyes" scanning the cliffside above. The Hawke Estate was no longer a mansion; it was a "Crematorium" of glass and history. The orange glow of the fire was dying down, smothered by the thick, "Analog" fog that had returned to claim the ruins. The Silence of the Grid "Aria... breathe," Ethan commanded, kneeling beside her.

The Luna's Silence: Price of the Allied Throne

The Luna's Silence: Price of the Allied Throne

It was a shell, a crystalline cathedral the size of a fortress. "The Azure Palace " Helios whispered. As we drew closer the beauty faded. The crystal shell was cracked. Black ink oozed from the fissures—the Void. It wasn't just surrounding the palace; it was being breathed out by it. "She’s been corrupted " Kaelen growled. "No " I said. "She’s mourning. She’s been singing to the dead for long and the Void answered her song." A sound vibrated directly into our souls. It was a note, a high-pitched haunting melody. The Leviathans outside the ship went rigid. Their bioluminescence turned red.

Blue Like The Moonlight

Blue Like The Moonlight

"Someone asking how your day was. I'd say that's pretty valuable." The sky is bleeding again, but it's a different kind. It's purple, casting a periwinkle haze on everything, including them. Red spills across the clouds and drips down over the horizon. It reflects over the black vinyl of Uriel's phone like an oil slick, staring up at the purple like it's going to swallow them whole. Uriel took a moment to ponder.

Love Conquers All

Love Conquers All

[Present] Damien’s POV There is a green haze covering the whole clearing and the humming is getting louder, but the haze is too thick to clearly see who or what is making the sound, just a dark form in the center. I took a step in to try and get a better view, I realized very quickly I made a mistake.

This was SO good. This is the 2nd book of Miss L that I’ve read, and she’s done it again. I love how she manages to capture a strong female lead, and managed to do it 6x in this story. I will say I’m a little disappointed in the abrupt ending. Wish there were a few epilogues honestly.
