But then it dawned on me.

I murmured, half asleep, smiling against his ribs, warm all the way through. "My queen," Malik said, quiet, into my hair, like a thing he'd known for a long time and had only now earned the right to name. "My queen of chaos. If you'll have the crown. I couldn't imagine going that long without talking to my mate. I decided no matter what would happen ,I would always work things out with him and not let things get to strenuous because I love him very much.
