The Phantom Queen

The Phantom Queen

"Wait! What?! That's confusing! You said you're the Alpha." "Yes, but so are you." Sage sat up, dragging the sheet around her exposed body. Then she looked over her shoulder and gave me a face of confusion. "Can you please elaborate?" As I sat up, I didn't bother to cover myself, causing my mate's eyes to stare at my chest. I mentally smirked when she blushed but absorbed her question instead. "Well, I was confused too but she said that the previous Queens share the curse with their mate before. Everything just changed when her spirit shattered during the rebellion."

A Queen Among Darkness

A Queen Among Darkness

When all the books are completed, I will be releasing an illustrated companion on paperback that will dive into the universe and mythology of this series. For more details on the series and other upcoming books or if you want to know behind-the-scenes in-story facts or see story aesthetics and character vios, you can follow me or join the Queen's Court group. I also have other books unrelated to this series currently out, such as Codename: Blackheart, a female assassin book which is book 1 in the Codename trilogy which I hope readers will enjoy. There are still many more books in my To Be Written pile and I hope you will all be part of the journey. Thank you all so much for the support

Denae O'Connor
This is by far my favorite book in this entire series. Not every author can write a same-sex relationship and make it so layered and nuanced instead of "corny". A.D. Burnell is a Queen Among Authors, and I can't wait until they get thr recognition they so thoroughly deserve.

One of the things i love about this series is that you think you know everything, and then you start the next book and so many layers are peeled back that blow your mind. it makes this the most addictive series ever

The Queen's Doll

The Queen's Doll

she stuttered, her voice shaking badly as she fears for the consequences of her failure. “Uh,” the Queen mother exclaims in a mock surprise, her amused gaze staring at the head cook. “If you did as I asked then what happened?” “The blonde!” Miss Wang exclaims hotly, her body shuffling toward the Queen Mother. “Excuse me!” The Queen Mother looks at the head cook in confusion, her gaze shifting momentarily to her own servant to see if she understood what the old woman was rambling about. Her servant steps forward to explain. “One of the Queen’s personal servant saved her,” the woman answered politely.

THE PURE ALPHA

THE PURE ALPHA

As she looked through the books she found that they were filled with books and ancient texts from leaders of the packs who had been here before them, their stories of victories and losses and of wars fought in the past. One book in particular caught her interest and she picked it up. The book was very old from years of use. As she opened it the book seemed to whisper to her it's ancient secrets. She could not understand most of the writings as they were written in codes. She opened it and the first words that came to her which she could understand made her shiver. She read the words aloud even though the room was empty. “The Pure Alpha’s blood, in unity, will restore or destroy the fractured

Owned By The King Of Blackwood (De Luca Series)

"The victory was this. You and me. Standing in the wreckage." I closed my eyes, feeling safe, feeling loved, feeling powerful. The dark rites of Blackwood University were over. The savage games had ended. I was no longer the pawn. I was the Queen. And I was holding the King’s heart in the palm of my hand. End of Book One THE END.

Protect Your Queen: A Dark Revenge Romance

Protect Your Queen: A Dark Revenge Romance

“Why are men always so stupid when it comes to women? Time and time again. Just remember Helen of Troy before you do anything stupid.” “I have an idea of how to keep her in line.” She set her glass down and crossed her arms over her chest. “Really? Let’s hear this idea.” I poured another glass before I gave her the name that would explain everything else. “Joseph Ingram.” After a moment of consideration, she smiled. “Not a bad idea.” Ariel followed me into the royal chambers with the proper equipment. London was in the second living room next to the balcony, reading a book she found on the shelf.

The Alpha's Sacrificial Bride: The Broken Pledge

The Alpha's Sacrificial Bride: The Broken Pledge

The blunt, moonstone-tipped fingers were slithering back down through the ceiling joists, their motion slow, blind, and deliberate as they tracked the scent of the toxic purple fluid coating her hair. The brass speaker in the dead man’s throat gave one final, wet rattle. The code is corrupted, Elizabeth’s voice whispered through the foam, the sound dripping with a cold, mechanical detachment. The garrison line is closed. The queen is an obsolete asset. The young woman didn't look up as the giant white fingers closed around her temples.

Love Spell On Alpha

Love Spell On Alpha

The Queen finally said, "Do you have anything to say for yourself?" The Queen turned to Erebus, looking all august and stern. The luring, sexy, teasing look in the dark room when she was with Erebus was all gone. There was only silence from Erebus. "Do you not even want to say anything for yourself?" The Queen waited patiently. Still, only silence. No one would say anything, and Erebus, while wanted to, could only say those three words if he opens his mouth. "Well, then. Alpha of the City of Nightsea, Lord Erebus," The Queen finally said,

The Queen (An unknown princess)

The Queen (An unknown princess)

Before Arianna could say anything, Merlin's voice interjected as he swiftly moved from tree lines to the place where Arianna stood and stated, "You can kneel before the heir to the throne and swear fealty to your future queen." Andrew's heart skipped a beat, his gaze drifting to Merlin while Merlin's eyes remained hard, staring him down. Merlin then informed him, "You are looking at the future queen of the supernatural world." "You're alive also?" Andrew asked while his gaze fell back on Merlin, "Amara is alive, you're alive, what the hell is going on?" "There's a lot of double standards going around...." her voice trailed off. Without another word, Andree took a knee in front of her and low

When the Queen Returned, They Panicked

When the Queen Returned, They Panicked

Madelyn’s POV “What should I call you?” I asked the bodyguard, frowning. My eyes continued searching his face, trying to remember where I’d seen him before. “You can call me Shadow L, Miss Sterling,” he answered. I was caught off guard by how deep his baritone voice sounded, making me pause for a second. Shadow L doesn’t sound like a real name, and I’m sure it wasn’t. “That’s not your real name,” I stated. “It's a code name, Miss Sterling,” he politely answered, but I noticed how his jaw clenched. Maybe it's their protocol?

Frequently Asked Questions

I actually had a bit of a hunt for this one recently. It depends a lot on your region and which platform you use, because 'Bad Queens' isn't a super mainstream blockbuster title. My first stop is always Audible; they have the deepest catalogue for stuff that's a bit more niche in fantasy or dark academia. I found it there without much trouble.

I also check Libby or OverDrive by linking my library card—totally free if you're patient and wait for a copy. The audio quality on those library apps is identical to buying it. Sometimes I prefer Scribd, now called Everand, which is like a Netflix subscription for audiobooks. It was on there last I checked, and you can listen as part of the monthly fee without a separate purchase.

Google Play Books and Apple Books are solid if you want to own the file outright and aren't tied to one ecosystem. A quick pro-tip: search for the exact author name alongside the title, because sometimes similar-sounding books pop up. I remember the narrator for 'Bad Queens' had this really sharp, cynical delivery that perfectly matched the protagonist's voice.
