She says with a small giggle. "You will stop second guessing your abilities to lead and you will rule right beside your mate. That is an order." She jokes with a hint of seriousness. I nod and smile up at her. She holds her hand out and a golden staff apears. I immediately bow down and she dubs me Queen of werewolves by tapping the staff on both of my shoulders. "I now dub thee Mackenzie Roseline Lathen as Queen of werewolves and Luna of the royal pack. Do you accept?" She asks and I look up at her.

Herald the cat seemed to tire of the censored talk as he said, “Alissa, there is not much time. The Queen of Cards is a merciless woman, she sends out troops from time to time to capture spoils and creatures of the land and she either uses them for furniture or chops off their heads! “Herald!” Mr Duck protested. “No, she must know,” Herald retorted. “There is chaos whenever she is present, death and destruction, and that awful ghastly creature she commands!” Herald began to groan and visibly shake. Mr Duck comforted him and led him away. “He gets like that whenever he talks about the Queen of cards.” I heard from behind me. I turned to find the twins hurdled closely so that their breasts per

It would take everything she had to get ahead of the Representatives. “All right, ladies!” The queen’s voice was loud and clear despite the fact that she was soaring above their heads on the decking. “On my command, you may enter the maze. Remember, the goal is not to get caught, but if you do, use your beguiling nature to keep as many ribbons as you can!” Kit saw Seph glance down at her own wrists, decorated with six purple ribbons. She wondered if Eli would take a ribbon or a kiss from his old flame.... “On your mark, get set... enter!”

“Is there anything we can do for you?” I forced a small smile, shaking my head. “Thank you, but I am fine. Just needed a bit of fresh air.” The woman nodded, giving me a warm smile before returning to her tasks. I watched her go, my mind racing with thoughts of Tariq and his plans. I was supposed to be this pack’s queen, their Luna. But in reality, I was just a pawn in Tariq’s game. The thought made me feel sick. Another pack member approached, bowing slightly as he greeted me. “Good morning, Queen Leah,” he said, his tone reverent. The words made me feel uneasy.

She sets the cleaning supplies in her hands down and makes a break for the front door. The door flies open to reveal pack members gathering on the sides of the street, anxiously looking down the mountain. A group of members have been working to clear the last bit of snow from the path, and a group of kids must have been waiting at the edge of the street, waiting for the first sight of the kingdom's warriors. While the Royal Guard visits packs for warriors every summer, they only come to the Summit Keepers once every ten years due to how difficult the journey is. Our mother adored her, nurturing her in ways I could only watch from afar. I may have looked like my mother, but I rarely saw her, and the distance between us had always been clear.

"Alpha is our leader here. Including the king in our kingdom. Do you understand?" "What's his name?" Leah was getting curious. "Liam," Jack replied. "Okay, I'll remember him.
