Queens Game 소설 & 이야기

Arric yelled out as he moved his play piece to corner my King on the chess board. “Must you yell?” Past Azura winced as she covered her ears, but in a playful manor. “I think everyone in town heard you.” “Oh come on! This is the first time I have beat you in this game. I am ready to go to the top of the mountain to let the whole world know that for the first time in thousands of year's I, Arric Chasm, have over powered the Dragon Queen.” I snorted at that comment. This was the first time I was referenced as a Queen. While it was technically true, the idea of being Queen sounded weird. I was anything but regal.

Noema said with excitement in her eyes. Quacey looked at also the claw machine and ran towards it. “I will play too.” So both of the two played the claw machine, but alas they already spent a lot of coins but they could not win any of the stuffed toys inside. Noema was getting impatient while Quacey was getting furious. Suddenly, the cute lips of little Noema twisted into a mysterious curl. “Queen mother, could you please buy me coins again?” she asked to which Queen Asalea nodded and bought another ten coins, giving Noema the five coins and Quacey the other five coins.

Caliana could hear her brothers chatting in the main room of the house, excited. The Hunters yearly search for an apprentice had begun a few weeks ago, but so far no one had been chosen. They heard the King and Queen of Asteria had chosen to pass on having one of their children enter the Hunters Competition, so the Hunters had skipped going through their kingdom, and was instead heading north, towards their village.

I pulled on my leather pants and sports bra and headed downstairs. Today was for hunting. I had lost the first game to Gardenia. I walked downstairs nonchalantly and into the open field where the audience and spectators had gathered. Thane sat in his throne, Jairus on his left. The throne on the right was empty. The rules for the second game was stated out. Two hours to hunt. The one with the most kill wins the round. We entered the forest through separate routes.

Jingfei muttered when she saw Alexander's lip curved. "Nope, I'm not! I was just wondering what punishment I should give you once I win this game." He confidently uttered and Jingfei just smiled at him. "Okay! In your position now." She grabbed Alexander and placed him beside her, "Okay, on my mark!.... Ready! Get! Set! Go!" As soon as Jingfei uttered the word go, she dashed off leaving Alexander. Jingfei didn't look back and focused her gaze at the car when she felt a wind pass her.

A few of the spectators appear repulsed while the majority cheer in excitement. "Now, these are the rules of the game," Elon starts to spell out. "If the savages capture one of the Queens she has the chance to hand over her son to die in her place and she will be reinstated of her queenly role. For the Princes, there is a way out too since I am a generous king. Look for a secret opening within the Arena and you shall save your life!" A loud applause accompanies King Elon as he marches back to his throne and the savages are unleashed. The Queens and Princes run for their lives and the hunt begins.

But a queen is the only piece on the board that can move in any direction. I blew a kiss to the red light. The hunt was over. The war had just begun.

I was his one weakness. Don Alex, the king of New York. And I was his queen. But days before our child was due, I was thrown into the Dockside Deathmatch—a cruel game broadcast for the underground world’s entertainment. The bullets flew, hidden traps lay in wait, and my every terrified, pathetic attempt to survive was broadcast live on giant screens. Then, I heard his second-in-command on the loudspeaker. "Boss, your wife's about to pop. You sure you wanna be here?"

Queen gave her last warning and looked at everyone for the last time got up from the gathering and went out of there. And a day came when the power of the Queen doubled. Because the Queen got not one, not two but five mates. This was the biggest and most pleasant shock of her life for Queen. Those four mates were strong male alphas from different packs. Queen's fifth mate was a girl who was Alpha's daughter. Along with Queen, other mates also did not want to leave their pack.

Not that I've felt many good things in life. - The queen is the most powerful piece on the board - I said - Why not use it? I look outside. That's what Margot thinks every time she looks at Angelic. She's the queen of the game, ready to coordinate everything when her father dies, including those diamonds she doesn't even know exist. She's ready for anything, really, but one night in the Bronx.
