Married by Mistake: Mr. Whitman's Sinner Wife

Married by Mistake: Mr. Whitman's Sinner Wife

As Shirley explained, her hand that held the anti-toxoid test reagent began to tremble involuntarily. Gradually, she began to recognize the cause of her problem. Her body had also been injected with the AXP69 poison, and these feelings she was experiencing were evidently the symptoms of the fourth stage flaring up. Jeremy peered at the anti-toxoid test reagent in Shirley's trembling hand. There were still traces of doubt in his heart. "Why should I believe you?" He coldly stared at Shirley, who was becoming paler with each passing moment. Shirley did not mind Jeremy's suspicion. She understood. She knew that this was the consequence of all her wicked deeds.

l think madeline and jeremy are not wise people why to they keep deveived by others they keep falling in people's traps you would think that by now they know that you can't trust people so l tired of the same thing happening to them the content of the book is the same betrayal over and over again

I think the writer of this book is very cruel in real life. Because all she wrote here about Madeline's life is full of agony. I love reading novels, but sometimes with this type of story, I think it's better to not continue reading this. Coz, I also felt what Maddie felt. .........

THE THING INSIDE YOUR HEAD (#TIME GODS SERIES)

THE THING INSIDE YOUR HEAD (#TIME GODS SERIES)

Pushing the door in, he stepped inside the wide room, immediately after which the automatic door behind him shut tight. The test was much easier than he'd even expected. For the Disposition Test, difficult questions were asked. In addition to this, the test also took down the expression of the one taking the test whenever a question was asked. If one were to carry an uncomfortable look, as though the question was just too difficult, it would be counted as failure.

The Lullaby of Wolfbane

The Lullaby of Wolfbane

I just hold my head up and pretend my pulse isn’t slamming against my ribs like it wants out. “Where are you taking me?” I ask, forcing my voice steady. The clinician doesn’t bother looking back. “The royal clinic.” “I know that,” I snap, then bite the edge off my tone. “What are you testing for?” He glances back then, mildly annoyed, as if my questions are an inconvenience. “Anything that could impair shifting. Illness. Deficiency. Suppression.” Suppression. The word follows me like a shadow. “Is this… normal?” I ask.

THE SUBSTITUTE MATE FOR THE ALPHA KING

THE SUBSTITUTE MATE FOR THE ALPHA KING

“That’s my partner. Not this tidy little logic-ghost. He’s a mess. And I love him. And if your ‘greater order’ can’t handle that, then your order isn't greater than a hill of beans.” I didn't strike it. I reached out and poked its chest, right where the real Kairi’s heart would be. “You’re a bad copy. Tell your boss to try harder.” The simulation dissolved into grey mist. The chime sounded again. Assessor Seven reappeared, its normally placid face sporting the faintest crease of what might be frustration. “Solution: personal narrative used as counter-argument. Illogical. Bypasses test parameters entirely. Data is… confounding.”

Restart My Life: The CEO's Second Chance

Restart My Life: The CEO's Second Chance

SHYLIE REED – BEHAVIOR NOTE Subject performs well under moral strain. Visible hesitation was non-existent. Minimal emotional response. Pattern is similar to that of advanced crisis conditioning, unusual for subject age. Next step: add ethical strain test. Monitor. He stopped typing and leaned back in his chair. For a long time, he stared at the blank wall across from him.

Shadows of the Lost

Shadows of the Lost

How did they expect her to be capable of that when her shadow had long been gone? “You don’t need to be upset, Miss. Relax on your chair, and I’ll try to explain what happened.” Just as she said, Z forced herself back in a sitting position. Good thing too, as she couldn’t bear standing for long. The feet of hers felt so frail she doubted it could hold her weight. “The test operates in a host-energy basis. It feeds on your energy and uses your own perception to build the sequence of test that will awaken your dominant qualities. From there, we will draw the conclusion and put you in the Quarter you belonged to.”

Probably the most challenging story I have written. With about 5 drafts and two years of crafting, it’s my longest work. It’s thrilling. I revisit it sometimes and, he, even I get overwhelmed and awed. I mean, it feels like I’m not the one who wrote it.

I love the world building of this novel! Even when you’re only in chapter one you can already see how the author meticulously planned the settings of the story. It’s descriptive so even if the world is new and unfamiliar the readers could still easily imagine what it’s like.

The Billionaire’s Nanny

The Billionaire’s Nanny

My voice shook as I responded, quickly grabbing the stick from the ground before he could reach it. His expression changed from blank to shock… “Are you…?” His words were guarded, like he was trying to protect himself from the worst thing that could befall a person. “I… No, I am not.” I found myself muttering last minute as I subconsciously dropped the stick into the bucket of water next to me. “Is that what the test says?” He was skeptical, just like I suspected he would be. I watched him retrieve the stick from the bowl and checked it. I silently prayed the water would alter the results.

The Antidote To His Ruin

My heart began beating faster. “Repeat it.” “I already did.” “Again.” He smiled. “You really don't trust happiness, do you?” “Repeat it.” He laughed quietly and started the test again. I watched the system process. One minute. Two. Five. Then the results appeared. 99.02%. I stared. Edward looked at me. Neither of us spoke. I swallowed. “Again.” He shook his head. “You're impossible.” “Edward.” “Fine.” The next test. 99.11%.

The Arrangement

His laugh grated on her last nerve and she hoped he choked on it. Oh, and don’t you worry, they had a test for that as well, a normal test. Legit, they tested her fucking IQ with a computer based test and had her sit down with a psychologist. He showed her ink blots and asked for her interpretations. By this point she was exhausted, annoyed, and tempted to mess with him, to lead him to believe she had homicidal tendencies. Which she was feeling a bit homicidal at the time actually. Instead, she plastered a smile and said what well-adjusted people would, no that’s a stream of clear water, not a river of blood flowing from your jugulars which I just sliced open doctor. Teaching her a lesson

She let us stew in that glare of hers, marinating in disapprobation. "I think you were right before." "Before? I said a lot of things, Abbie. Which one?" "That we need to test it. The Serenex. Make sure it's really working. You know, in case." "I appreciate the uncharacteristic abundance of caution and all - better late than never. I think Taylor adequately proved that for us, though." "Nah, I'm not so sure. I think we ought to test." "So you want to volunteer after all?" I retorted.

This book although taboo, brilliantly done. Original content and vividly described. Well paced. Thoroughly enjoyed and Im not even done with it yet. 30 chapters left. Def worth the read and def should be rated higher. Must be cuz of the subject matter though.

Really well-written, and very hot! It is so nice to read a book on one of these platforms without egregious spelling and grammatical errors! It lists this book as ongoing, but there haven’t been updates in a while. I would love more!
