Let me try another one.” She scrolled through her phone. “Alright, what do you call a cow with no legs?” Sean sighed but played along. “What?”

Rose asked in surprise, but the sound of Alec's happy laugh, coming towards them, interrupted their conversation. “Mommy, mommy! Finding nothing, his attention wandered briefly to a vast group of sunflowers which stood just behind the barbed wire fence line. A single blackbird perched atop the wire before chirping and fluttering away into the sanctuary of the sunflowers. "Check this out." Kadeem looked over his shoulder to see that Riley's gaze had landed near the weather-beaten shed to their left. She walked toward a furry lump lying in the grass. Kadeem strode over after her to investigate, his breath catching when he realized what it was - a dirt-covered, stuffed rabbit. He crouched down and cupped it in his hands.

The makeshift bandage wasn’t perfect, but it would have to do for now. Xander and Chris had been traipsing through the forest for hours in search of an animal to roast and eat for dinner. Xander spotted a small rabbit who was taking a nap under the moonlight. He calmly fixed his eyes on the rabbit and squeezed the trigger, feeling the familiar jolt in his shoulder as the gun fired. The rabbit fell to the ground with a thud. The two of them ran to it, and Xander carefully bent down and retrieved the lifeless body, a gentle sadness passing through his heart.

The Ice wolf took notice and did a circle with its right front paw. Nine wolves nodded and tried to follow them by digging too. The rhinoceros kept charging ahead and managed to knock out a few of the wolves, open to attacks by the surviving "jockeys" with their small bows.

Scarlett scrambled out of the garden patch and into the pig's path, startling the animal back toward Cole. He held his arms out wide and the animal cut back toward the road.
