Blackwater Val

Blackwater Val

Too fucking bizarre to even contemplate, to even have been real. Still, it was funny, how the thin giant’s head didn’t seem nearly as large and monstrous tonight as it had when they were younger. There were other Halloween decorations on display along Brazier Drive, amid these sleeping Houses of the Holy. Richard noticed some window-cling mummies, and a bedsheet ghost in the trees. An autumn-harvest scarecrow with a pair of dullish orange pumpkins (whose fleshy insides must be turning to stringy, seeded mush with the warm September days) sat on the porch stoop next door.

The Rejected True Heiress

The Rejected True Heiress

About a quarter mile away from camp, we located the rabbits’ warren hole, and crouched low in the underbrush, waiting for one to come out. It didn’t take long for a little brown head to poke out of the hole. A brown rabbit, its fur white in some spots now that winter was on its way, squeezed out and hopped a foot away from the hole. I could see its little nose twitch from where I was crouching. I notched an arrow and lifted the bow.

Fighter Luna's Shifted Fate

Fighter Luna's Shifted Fate

With a resigned sigh, I quickly butchered and skewered the rabbit. Outdoors, with no seasoning or utensils, the roast was gamy and tough, but having something to eat was better than nothing. Once our hunger was sated, everyone found a place to rest. Lying beneath the stars, my thoughts drifted to my grandmother, Elder Morgan. Moments earlier, Raven Chase had summoned a coal-gray carrier pigeon—the Rainseeker's Shadow Messenger. After scribbling a few words on a strip of midnight-blue gauze, they sent the bird winging toward the Northern Territory capital.

The Billionaire Rejected Me

The Billionaire Rejected Me

Wrong move. The old pickup truck stopped in front of a house, large and made of sturdy wood. Its double door is large and also made of wood, on each side of the door there is a yellow light. they stock the sacks of rice inside, I guess. On the other side I can see the rice field. Then I realized that Lazarus had come out when I heard him violently closing the door on the driver's side. I didn't go out because I thought he was going to open the door for me but no, he went straight to the door of the rice storehouse and took out a key and untied its small and short chain after he removed the lock with the key he was carrying to open the door

“A dog!” “Wait, where do you see a dog?” I asked, my eyes roaming around to find it. “I didn’t see one. I just thought that was what he saw.” Sara said, her head ducking low as embarrassment washed over her face. “That isn’t how the game works Sara, you have to visually be able to see it.” Ryan burst out into a fit of laughter. “Fine, then what is it?” Sara asked Leo. “It is a crow.” Leo responded. Looking out the window, I noticed there were a few crows spread across the fence we were driving by. I felt like an idiot for not thinking about that. Shaking my head, I let out a laugh.

this book is so fantastic! I'm only a third of the way through but i can't put it down! it's after 1 am and I'm forcing myself to stop reading and go to bed. This story is like a werewolf version of I am Legend and I can't wait to read more later ...

A Luna For Alpha Caleb

A Luna For Alpha Caleb

Only, it never comes. I hear a snarl, paws hitting the dirt, and blink when a large, chocolate-brown wolf grabs hold of the raccoon. My eyes widen, and I drag myself back to lean against a cold rock. The mate-bond zaps, telling me it's Ryan fighting off the raccoon. It's not much of a battle, though. He only needs to growl and snarl a couple of times for the raccoon to run into the forest. I catch movement in the corner of my eye, and Kara and Nicole give me a thumbs up. I'm not sure what it means. Are those hoes leaving me?! They can't do that! I'm injured; if this is Ryan, I'm already humiliated!

Christmas Cove

Christmas Cove

Kiki picked up the other scarf, striped in a riot of color, and placed it around the girl snowman's neck. "Here you go!" Abby handed Kiki a carrot and some red yarn This is for the nose and the lips-." Then she handed the same to her father, who was hard at work on the boy snowman. When they were finished, there were two perfectly decorated snowmen, a girl and a boy, standing in the yard. They even paced twigs in the sides for arms and the branches were so close they looked like they were holding hands. Abby was about to take off her gloves to add to the ends of the twigs, but her father stopped her.

SCARLETT : The farmhouse sat at the end of a winding dirt road, nestled between rolling green fields and a thick tree line. It was a sturdy two-story home, built with warm brown timber and stone, standing strong as if it had weathered years of seasons. The wraparound porch had wooden railings, a few rocking chairs, and flower pots spilling over with bright daisies and lavender. A wind chime swayed gently, adding a soft melody to the sounds of nature.

Fate With The Lycan Prince

Fate With The Lycan Prince

She suggested. Cara tiptoed as she sighted the rabbit a few stride away from her. The rabbit didn't notice Cara coming its way as it was busy with something eating some kind of meat it caught by itself. Roy stood on a spot and watched Cara as she shifted into her wolf about to pounce on the rabbit. Roy smiled and folded his lips. "She will lose this one,... she's not anywhere good at hunting," Roy said, silently, talking to himself.

3 fully grown rabbits East. He used his ability through his eyes. He grabbed some arrows and first targeted the rabbits since they are in a group and are more likely to flee since they are on the ground. Once he knocked the arrows he hit the squirrel at his 8 o'clock before shooting the two, which are above him. It was a quick kill. All arrows directed to their heads to make their end less painful. He heard the drops of the squirrels that he killed falling from the trees. He gathered his kill, strapped them to his belt, and headed back to camp.
