Once our hunger was sated, everyone found a place to rest. Lying beneath the stars, my thoughts drifted to my grandmother, Elder Morgan. “A dog!” “Wait, where do you see a dog?” I asked, my eyes roaming around to find it. “I didn’t see one. I just thought that was what he saw.” Sara said, her head ducking low as embarrassment washed over her face. “That isn’t how the game works Sara, you have to visually be able to see it.” Ryan burst out into a fit of laughter. “Fine, then what is it?” Sara asked Leo. “It is a crow.” Leo responded. Looking out the window, I noticed there were a few crows spread across the fence we were driving by. I felt like an idiot for not thinking about that. Shaking my head, I let out a laugh.

Only, it never comes. I hear a snarl, paws hitting the dirt, and blink when a large, chocolate-brown wolf grabs hold of the raccoon. My eyes widen, and I drag myself back to lean against a cold rock. The mate-bond zaps, telling me it's Ryan fighting off the raccoon. It's not much of a battle, though. He only needs to growl and snarl a couple of times for the raccoon to run into the forest. I catch movement in the corner of my eye, and Kara and Nicole give me a thumbs up. I'm not sure what it means. Are those hoes leaving me?! They can't do that! I'm injured; if this is Ryan, I'm already humiliated!

Kiki picked up the other scarf, striped in a riot of color, and placed it around the girl snowman's neck. "Here you go!" Abby handed Kiki a carrot and some red yarn This is for the nose and the lips-." Then she handed the same to her father, who was hard at work on the boy snowman. When they were finished, there were two perfectly decorated snowmen, a girl and a boy, standing in the yard. They even paced twigs in the sides for arms and the branches were so close they looked like they were holding hands. Abby was about to take off her gloves to add to the ends of the twigs, but her father stopped her.

SCARLETT : The farmhouse sat at the end of a winding dirt road, nestled between rolling green fields and a thick tree line. Roy stood on a spot and watched Cara as she shifted into her wolf about to pounce on the rabbit. Roy smiled and folded his lips. "She will lose this one,... she's not anywhere good at hunting," Roy said, silently, talking to himself.

He grabbed some arrows and first targeted the rabbits since they are in a group and are more likely to flee since they are on the ground. Once he knocked the arrows he hit the squirrel at his 8 o'clock before shooting the two, which are above him. It was a quick kill. All arrows directed to their heads to make their end less painful. He heard the drops of the squirrels that he killed falling from the trees. He gathered his kill, strapped them to his belt, and headed back to camp.
