Jacob’s features were twisted due to pain. “Are you forcing me to kill you?” Eliza raised her eyebrows. Her eyes were filled with cold ruthlessness. “You… What are you going to do?” Jacob was flustered. “Don’t act recklessly. Your Aunty Rachel and Nicholas know that I came to your place today.”

“Leave now!” Suddenly the sound of rushing feet caught both of their attention. Rachel’s heart was in her throat as she thought it was Jacob’s men who had come to finish the job. She grabbed Nate’s good shoulder and tried to pull him up. He groaned and resisted. “Why do you have to be so stubborn now?” she cried. “Jacob is going to kill you.”

Jakob growled his eyes fixated on Killian whose sniffles turned into wails. “It was my fault!" Rachel said, quickly rushing in front of Killian. "I-... I lost my footing, and then he-" But before she could finish defending Killian, someone grabbed her by the back of her blouse yanking her away. "What did I say about interrupting?" Jakob snarled at her as he motioned the guard to hold her down. "You need to stop that shit, Rachel before I let you join this useless child for punishment.”

Edward spoke, more of a statement than a question. As the bar was relatively quiet at this time of day, Edward struck up conversation with his new patrons. Jack and Jill gave a short story that today was their birthdays and how they had to leave Old George and try to make something over themselves now that they'd become adults. Edward listened genuinely and intently.

He also promised to arrange the place for me, he is such a nice person”.

Rachel gulped down nothing and faced downwards. “Uhm” Jabal said making eye contact with Aaliyah and Nana and understanding his message, they left immediately to another table leaving just Rachel. “Those betrayers...”Rachel muttered under her breath. Jabal sat opposite her and stared at her amusedly. Rachel quickly stands up and made to leave but Jabal was quick to grab her hand. “Please......stay,” He said softly and Rachel sat down back. “I admitted I like you. you don’t have to run away from me or avoid me. we can just be friends if you don’t feel the same way and am not going to pressure you to be in a relationship with me” Jabal said.

Granny Petra placed a hand on her forehead, gently massaging the area as she let out a sigh. "Kaila had a point." Jacob spoke for the first time, making Rachel's expression even worse. "You guys should also be ashamed of yourselves. I haven't been around here much, but I'm sure the neighbours know me better than they know you, if they can even remove you. I mean, I wouldn't have even known Granny had kids if she hadn't died because you guys were never around." He calmly added. Rachel opened her mouth to say something, but I held my hand up to stop her.

Slowly, I raise my hands in surrender, turning to face the person holding the gun. To my surprise, it's Jacob, and he has Rachel with him. "Go back." He slightly push me with the gun "I said move back or I will shoot her!" He growls as he pushes me with one hand "Let her go," I say taking a step back. "Move backward or I will fucking shoot her!" He growls pointing the gun at Rachel "I’m moving back, okay." I assert hurriedly "Just drop the gun, let’s talk this man to man."
