I said, looking at the bigger horses.
“This is Max, Fiona, Caramel, Felix and Angel,” he said, and I chuckled.
“You name your horses,” I said, and he nodded his head.
“Of course,” he said, rubbing his head. They are all different colours. The two smaller ones, which he did mention their names, look like Max and Caramel, so I can tell these horses birthed them. Max was the biggest; maybe that’s why he named him Max.
“Touch him,” he said, and I moved forward. I touched the horse softly, and his head moved to me.
