Drip, drip, drip I feel feather like droplets break its fall on my head. What started off as tiny drops, now begin to pour mercilessly down on us. When the rainy season came around again, Corinne returned to Wyndmere alone. She wore the dress Emric had always liked, and she walked the cobblestone streets they had once planned to walk together. She watched the canal boats drift under the arched bridges. She watched the couples passing by on every side. Tears slid down her face without a sound. She found a café by the water and ordered a pot of the tea Emric used to drink, then sat by the window and watched the rain fall over the canal. She spoke softly to no one in particular.
