It is where he could watch the group of people eating together at one table. He eyed intently onto one of the esteemed Igetes of Mageia. She was the last born Igetes. The most powerful monster, yet believed to be a fragile angel. She's now with her newfound friends eating at the same table. Full of laughter. She seems to be having fun. "Looks like their princess is having so much fun." He said while grinning from ear to ear. But his grin turns into a sinister smile before he speaks once again. "But not for long. Soon, dear Igetes." He said as he took a sip from his precious wine.

His claws on his hands and feet were huge and long but in different sizes. It wasn't any supernatural being I recognized. Rai stood right in front of me and kept telling me to run but I didn't. I stayed still, frozen on the ground. Rai looked back at me and figured that I was not going to move any time soon, and so he lunged towards the monster. I noticed myself snap back to reality and pleaded him to stop but he didn't. He ran towards him until he was directly in front of him. The monster was three times bigger than him. Rai could only land his hand on his side and pushed his hand on his stomach.

“Never approach me when I am like that again. You do not understand what I am capable of.” Anger flashed in Bailey’s eyes. “I just helped you and you pushed me away?” “You do not understand,” I repeated coldly. “Leave it.” She lifted her chin with defiance. “Is this why they call you the Monster King?” I met her gaze and felt the weight of ten years press down on me. “No. They call me the Monster King because of what I did after I stopped fighting the monster.”

Lydia’s POV Rina stayed for an extra week at the Alpha’s castle, and it had to be one of the best weeks of my life. We laughed until our stomachs hurt, explored the halls and hidden corners I remembered from Kaela’s orientation, and ate like royalty. For someone fully human, this place was a surreal blend of nightmare and fantasy. She called it “Beauty and the Beast meets Dracula’s mansion”, and she wasn’t far off.

"You’re sounding sentimental. Is this about the girl? The 200-level student you left in the cold?" "It’s about the woman who saved my soul," Julian said, stepping directly into the light. He looked into the main camera lens—the one broadcasting to every Vane-controlled device on the planet. "I spent my life hiding because I thought I was a monster. But Elara Favour showed me that the only real monsters are the ones who try to own the air we breathe and the water we drink. I love her. And I will burn this entire dynasty to the ground to keep her free."

More like three voices in one. Hera chuckles behind us. "There he is. The monster hidden under his fake civility." I can't breathe. I've never seen him look so terrifying. Hera sashays to her red car, and I panic. "Wait, what are you doing?! Take him with you!" I say, my voice shaky. "You should tame your monster first. He looks like he's about to riot," she responds, and I glance at Tyler's unmoving form. A small pool of blood is forming under him.

What a monster. ************

They hissed and attacked Raff together. Raff turned his snout and sharp claws toward the five spider monsters surrounding him. Then he jumped very high and escaped from their circle. Finally, the spider monsters only attacked empty air because Raff had moved. One spider monster is getting more and more rampaged. With his fighting skills, Raff attacked and knocked them down individually. He even tore the bodies of the monsters with his sharp fangs. I've never seen Raff that scary when he's angry. He really turned into a monster.

The creature in front of me had Jace and Rhea clutched in its hands, jerking them like dolls, its deformed arms moving too damn quickly. Thunderclapped, rain pounded the roofs, swallowing my screams. The monster stopped and turned to face me, its deathly pale, corpse-colored flesh radiating sickly every flash of lightning. "Why the devil would I let 'em go? You don't need these rug rats!" It spoke in a sneering snarl, baiting me. "I need 'em, you monster!" I yelled, heaving through muck, legs burning. "Hold on, Jace! I'm going to get you!"

We went into our secret meeting room to discuss the way forward. "Due to the rise of the monsters, it is obvious that Ralph is ready to go all out " Aiden stated. "At this point, we can't wait for him to come to us. We must go to him, and very fast about it so he wouldn't create more monsters." Jayden stated. I listened to my mates as they each made their suggestions. All I could think about was how to bring an end to these monsters once and for all. I'm a Moon Wolf, but I can't fight this fight alone. So, if there's anybody that could be of help to me, then it should be...my mom!
