Veron exclaimed, taking my phone and quickly tapping on Josh Rain's profile picture. My eyes widened as I saw Josh Rain's picture. "Is this really him? Isn't this just a dummy account he gave you?" Veron asked, stammering and seemingly unable to believe as she stared at Josh Rain's picture. "He looks like a model. Or an actor?" Ivory commented while also looking at Josh Rain's picture. "Gosh! He's handsome, Friend!" Veron exclaimed before glancing at me. I kept staring at Josh Rain's picture. His nose was perfectly shaped, and he had a sweet and beautiful smile. His eyes were like shining stars, and I felt deeply embarrassed for myself.

Well, fuck. I spend the next minutes looking at their profiles, one was a high school kid, one a gay rights activist, another an 80 year old man with only a picture of his wife and dog posted, I found that cute. One was a young professor, another seemed to be a fake AI account, I keep seeing more of the likes, I almost give up until… I come across a private account, with nothing but ‘vegetarian’ in the bio, no profile pic, no further info.

She hit enter and waited, tapping her fingers against the desk in impatience. This time, the search results were more promising. One link in particular caught her eye—a F******k profile. Flora clicked on it, holding her breath as the page loaded. When it did, her heart sank a little. The profile was set to private, meaning she couldn’t see much beyond the basics. However, the profile picture was enough to confirm her suspicions. It was indeed Janice, though she looked a few years younger in the photo.

Then, his profile popped up. No bio, just a single photograph: a clean, sharp jawline, eyes that seemed to hold a quiet, conspiratorial amusement, and a background that suggested wealth—the kind of blurry, bokeh-effect city lights that only exist in penthouses or high-end hotel bars. His name was simply "J." I swiped right. The animation barely finished spinning before a notification pinged in the top right corner. It’s a Match! Before my thumb could even move to tap out a "Hey," another notification bloomed on the screen, this one a direct message.

So this what world like when they had their phones? I went over my seat. I opened my newly made f******k account. It was an anonymous. Creyshiee Elliee, that is my f******k name. Weird right? But nothing is more weird than the person who keep sending me messages. Mostly, I didn't put my face as a profile picture. I saved some cute chibi anime girls and make it as my profile picture. I only have three person's on my friend list. Patty, Krisha, and Zack. An idea pops in my mind. I tried searching for my f******k account I use in the real world.

A second later, her eyes grew wide in shock. “Ahemm..I see. Nice!..” “You should change your profile picture, it was too formal.” She was taken aback. “Umm.. okay?” Her eyes darted sideways. “Yeah, you should replace it with a more candid photo.” He said as they walked back to their line. She nodded. “Got it.” He had a point. The photo she used was the only photo inside her wallet. It was a copy of an ID picture. It really was too formal for a social media account profile picture.

Leaving it blank might make it look suspicious, Jamie might not be interested to talk to me, so I shall upload a proper human photo. However, I can’t just use my own photo, can I? My true identity will be exposed right away. That might cause failure to the current plan, and it would need me to start all over again. Twice of suspicious activities of the same kind generate doubts, so I guess I’ll just do this on one go. I need to be careful choosing a profile picture. If I can’t use my own photo, whose should I use then? I search across my mind. If Jamie is gay, I should use a man’s photo, and if he likes white hair guys...

I was certain he wouldn't suspect it was me. I settled on the names Ars and Zack. He won't know for sure. He'll believe I'm just one of his avid fans. I also put thought into my profile picture. I snapped a photo of my foot, focusing on the heart-shaped mole on the side of it. Of course, my profile picture isn't a foot. It's just a close-up of that mole. He had no idea I had such a mark on my foot.
