"Zip... up... my hair..." This was all I could say before his large palm brushed up against my back. "Rapunzel" He mocked before pulling the zip down forcefully, yanking a few strands from my scalp and eliciting a painful yelp. Because of my long, silky hair, he used to call me this when we were kids. Today, however, the word Rupanzel was tinged with hatred and bitterness. "That was harsh," I said, putting my hand over my chest to keep my gown from slipping down.

But one day the prince climbs up the tower and falls in love with her. He rescues her and they live happily ever after," she narrated the story to him. "She is like me. I am also not allowed to go out. I wonder where my prince is," her shoulders slumped as she sighed. Her statement caused an ache to push against his chest. Her prince was no more.
