Raven Castle Novels & Stories

But it’ll only work if you move fast. My heart skips a beat. Three beats. Twelve. Trust Raven. Estrella makes a small noise, and I can’t remember why that was even a fucking decision. I wheel for Mother’s—Raven’s–greenhouse. The castle spreads out before me like a map in my mind. Every hidden passage, every shortcut ever drilled into these walls. I can do this. One last trip through the castle I’ve learned so well. ‘Okay.’

She smirks. “And you think he will notice you if you keep pulling childish tantrums all around the Castle? You think you can gain his favour by being haughty?” “How dare you speak to me like that?” Sabrina takes a step forward with her hand stretched towards me. That’s when all hell breaks loose. The raven bursts out of the cage, croaking loudly as it knocks down pots, spoons and plates on its way. The maids scream with fear and they run all over the kitchen to avoid the bird while some escape through the door.

Not anymore. A warm hand briefly squeezed mine. I looked down. Damien. He didn’t say anything, didn’t need to. The gesture alone said enough. I’m here. The simple reassurance eased something inside me. I squeezed back, and neither of us let go immediately. Forty minutes later, Raven House emerged from the darkness. The building stood atop a small hill overlooking a lake. Moonlight reflected off the water below. The property itself was larger than I’d imagined; old, elegant, weathered by time. A place filled with stories. A place that had witnessed both suffering and healing.

Shopping with Raven turns out to be an entire adventure. No... Adventure isn't the right word. An endurance test. When Raven goes shopping, she doesn't simply buy what she needs. She hunts. She compares prices. She reads reviews. She somehow finds stores I never even noticed existed. By lunchtime we have already visited three furniture stores, a hardware store, two grocery stores, and a place that sold nothing but candles. Candles. Who needs an entire store dedicated to candles? Apparently witches.

I merely gave a short nod, letting the silence answer for me. Raven emerged from the stables, leading the five swiftest horses in the castle. "Everything is ready, Sire. I have prepared an official excuse for the council—that you are both performing a private purification ritual at the mountain temple." "Will they believe it?" I asked. "They have no choice but to believe it," Raven answered flatly. "I have also placed two of my most trusted knights to watch the gates. If anything suspicious arises, they will send a messenger bird."

The Red Moon day arrived but this time my family, the creature of full moon weren't happy. The occasion of Red Moon day came in every 3 years and that time when the moon shine upon us we all feel powerful than ever. Every wolf life depend upon it's pack and tribe so that particular day when the moon was at its peak every wolf unconsciously shape-shifts to their natural worm because wolf are most powerful at its animal form. Its been our ritual for so long, the tribe gather up together to feel enlightened, more powered and stronger.

If he could stay close enough to her, eventually he would catch up, and if he was lucky, he could grab ahold of her long enough to say the incantation that would send her to Hell. Rider rematerialized atop a large building and saw Raven in the distance. She’d dropped her cloak, and as she began to run, he chased after her. She still had her scythe in her hand, though she’d collapsed it into the size of a magic wand, and now that she wore a black cat suit, instead of the bulky cloak, she was much more agile. She couldn’t outrun him, though. She had to know that. What was she trying to do?

Everyone was screaming and then he figured out why. Caine had transformed. His long stay on the castle grounds over the last few weeks had caused the magic to claim him. He stood up a little over Mister's wolf and he roared his mighty dragon roar, as he stretched his wings out for the very first time. Caine looked around to make sure Della was not in the way, and then he let the magic and rage take him over all at once. He lowered his head and narrowed his eyes at Mister and he took a threatening stance against him.

My vision swirls again and I'm on an island with a huge castle surrounded by lava, fire, and ash. A witch is helping him practice magic. As I get a closer look, I can feel Snow growl as it is none other than that bitch Raven. I hadn't thought about Raven in years, but each time it makes my blood boil. It looks like she wants his help in getting her lover during that time, who I can only assume is Roland of her time. I remember looking into a past life seeing her in this state.

It seemed they didn’t care too much about the gruesome battle raging outside; their eyes were on the invisible barrier surrounding the house. As the witches walked along the edge, creating a semicircle around the barrier, another figure stepped out from the growing fog outside the tree line. The tall Raven had straight black hair that ran almost the entire length of her back. She was thin and had strange black markings all over her pale skin, which seemed to whirl on her skin as she began muttering something. A black film emerged as she chanted, swirling around her body in pulses.
